This is a 'must do' experience. We were late arriving for the tour, but Mac was very patient and greeted us with a smile. The jeep was clean and comfortable, and quickly converted to open or closed, depending on our needs. He showed us hidden gems and the views were spectacular. Mac helped take photos and gave great commentary about the area.

Amazing experience with the most knowledgeable tour lead, Mac. He knew so many cool spots one would not normally find on their own and had so many cool facts or historic stories to go along with all the spots. If you want to have an adventure you wont forget, take a tour with Cape Breton Backcountry. You will not be disappointed.

We had an incredible full-day off-road Jeep tour with Mac Graham at Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures. Mac helped us make the absolute most of our time on Cape Breton—showing us the area from stunning and often unexpected vantage points that we never could have accessed on our own. He struck the perfect balance between adventure and education, weaving in stories about the region’s history, geology, and industries in a way that brought the landscape to life. On top of that, Mac gave us fantastic recommendations for local food and lodging that made the rest of our visit even better. If you want to experience Cape Breton beyond the usual stops—and with someone who knows it inside and out—this is the tour to book. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
