EL CHIFLÓN WATERFALLS - MONTEBELLO LAGOONS - DEPARTURE FROM TUXTLA GUTIERREZ

Departure at 6:00 am. We will head towards the most impressive waterfalls in Chiapas, Cascadas el Chiflón, where we will take a tour that lasts approximately 2 hours, starting with the ones located downstream, which are the following: Cascada el suspiro, Cascada Ala de Ángel, Cascada Arco Iris, Cascada Quinceañera, and the main Velo de Novia Waterfall (a beautiful curtain of water 70 meters high that has a viewpoint), the highest and most powerful waterfall in Chiapas.

Then we continue with the excursion to the Montebello Lagoons, one of the most beautiful natural sites in the country, due to its aquatic environments, both surface and underground, where we will observe lagoons such as: Lake Tziscao, Laguna Pojoj, Lake Montebello, Laguna Enchanted and the dreamy lagoon.

Approximate return 10:30 pm. The tour culminates in the city of Tuxtla G.

Cascada El Chiflon

Cascadas el Chiflón is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Chiapas due to its height, whose stepped fall reaches about 120 meters. The San Vicente River, one of the largest rivers in Chiapas, gives rise to a series of waterfalls that receive the names of: The Sigh, Angel Wing and Bride's Veil, the latter the most impressive for its fall of 70 meters. Tall. They form natural pools of waters of intense turquoise blue color, framed with a vast vegetation that forms a tree curtain and landscapes that stand out for their reeds and palm groves. * Does not include the payment of guides.

Lago Montebello

The Lagunas de Montebello, one of the most beautiful natural sites in the country, is due to its aquatic environments, both superficial and underground, where we will observe lagoons such as: Lake Tziscao, Laguna Pojoj, Lake Montebello, Laguna Esmeralda and Laguna Ensueño, Famous for the colors of its waters, these are due to several factors, among which are the types of bottom soil, vegetation and light refraction. * Does not include payment of cayuco.

Started at 6:30 am got back about 11 pm in Tuxtla Gutierrez. The waters were beautiful. Can only swim at the end of the tour for the first waterfall. Best to change at that time not wear swimsuit throughout. Bring towel. At the lake, the wood log ride was neat to the island. Can jump off 6M jump into lake. Cenote isn’t anything special, Wouldn’t care to see it again. There are little snacks and places to eat at each stop. Overall good driver, informative tour guides and nice experience. Bring water and snacks!!

We are a tour group of nine persons from Russia and we booked a three trips with "Apasionado X Chiapas": day trip "Waterfalls El Chiflon and lagos Montebello", day trip "Canyon Sumidero" and day trip "Yaxchilan-Bonampack". And every trip was wonderful! Nobody was disapointed. It was great organization and very good quolity of service. Special thanks to our agent Felipe Mendez Espinoza. He was answering our every question and tried to fulfill our wishes as soon as it possible. Every detail of our tours was well thought out. We didn't have any problem. The pick up and transport was very good. We were provided with an comfortable minivan. Not a single delay! Thanks to our driver Juan! The nature of Chiapas is magnificent, amazing, wonderful! It's brilliant! We have unforgettable impressions! The waterfalls El Chiflon are impressive and Canyon Sumidero is breathtaking! We were swiming, we had an experience on Zip Line, we had a boat trips and canoes, we visited intresting ancient arqueologic areas! Everything was great! Everyone of us was happy and full of feelings. We made many cool shots!)) Next time we will book our trips in Chiapas only with "Apasionado X Chiapas"! Our thanks to all who organised our trips!!!
