We had a great time on this excursion! The boat staff were incredibly nice and helpful, working hard to make sure our drinks were filled and educating us on the wildlife. My only comment is that this is not a sailing boat and we felt a little cramped on the boat with 25+ guests, so we felt that the title (notes a sailing tour) and description (notes no more than 20 guests) was a little misleading. But otherwise we certainly enjoyed ourselves!

Relaxed ride to the three stops - Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, and Caye Caulker. Rose, Eddie, and rest of the team were incredibly attentive, fun, and experts at this experience! We had a great time!

This trip started off very unorganized and the staff in the check in office was unfriendly. The boat itself was old and inadequate to handle this group. We got both snorkeling events in - but on our way to Caye Caulker our boat broke down. They had to shuttle us into Caye Caulker and our time there was cut short. To make matters worse - they could not fix the boat - Toucan Play from Xsite Sailing. They put us on a high-speed boat to return to San Pedro - my husband has a bad back and this trip was challenging. We missed the sunset cruise back (2 hours' worth of time) - half of the appeal of the trip. No one seemed to care and did not offer any sort of compensation. I would never book this trip again with this company. I hope Trip Advisor is paying attention.

The catamaran and the crew were outstanding. Snorkeling was relaxing and gorgeous, and our family of 5 felt right at home from the moment we stepped on board. The tacos provided for lunch and cevice on our return trip was amazing and the entire day was a relaxing adventure that we all agree we would highly recommend. An added bonus was the dolphins we happened upon along the way. All in all a great trip.

Incredible day on the Tucan Play boat through Xsite Sailing. Could not have asked for better staff, surroundings, snorkling, fun.. the list goes on. My husband and I have done a lot of snorkel trips and this was by far the best one! Great way to spend my birthday!

  • Highlight of our trip to Belize

This was our most anticipated activity in Belize, and it did not disappoint. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect day. Visibility was great. Eddy took us out on our group snorkel in Hoi Chan and pointed out barracuda, rays, turtles, cool caves, worms, and other sea life. Thanks, Eddy! Next stop was shark alley where we floated among the nurse sharks and rays. Final stop was at Caye Caulker for a relaxing lunch. Kayla and others (sorry, forgot all the guides names) took us to feed the tarpons and then showed us to their favorite lunch spot, Rainbow Grill. We could have sat there all day. Yummy food and cold drinks hit the spot. Fresh fruit was available after the first two stops and beverages all day. Homemade ceviche was delicious. Deroy (sorry I am not sure if the name is correct) spent some quality time with us told us about the mangroves, and Kayla took a family photo for us. As icing in the cake, a couple dolphins swam along with the boat on the way back (thanks to the captain). Got back just as the sun was setting. Again, couldn’t have asked for a nicer trip. Xsite really delivered. Would definitely do another trip with them.

This is a fantastic way to spend a day if you are in San Pedro. The crew was great and always made sure we had everything we needed. They served us shrimp ceviche (pico de gallo for vegetarians) and fresh fruit and the drinks (water, soda, rum punch, and Beliken Beer) stayed flowing.
