  • Such a great experience to Caye Caulker

Tacio, G and Michele were all so helpful, family oriented and caring on our trip. G was a great guide around Hol Chan and had a great eye for so many sea creatures and even won over our 2 year old. They really care about preserving the reef and providing education so that others can do the same. We had a great time on our day trip to Caye Caulker. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

We did the open day sail and it ended up being one of the best excursions of our trip. The day starts with gear fitting and a 10AM departure. First stop is Hol Chan Marine Reserve for about a 45-minute guided snorkel. The guides were attentive, fun, and pointed out marine life we definitely would have missed on our own. After that, you head to Shark & Ray Alley where you swim near nurse sharks and stingrays — exciting, well organized and safe. You then sail to Caye Caulker and have a couple of hours to walk around, grab lunch, and explore at your own pace. It’s a nice balance of structured activity and free time. Headed directly to the Sip N Dip. The sail back in the late afternoon doubles as a relaxed sunset cruise. Length of Visit: It’s a full-day tour (roughly 10AM–5PMish), and it feels well-paced. Atmosphere: Laid-back and social without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Crowd Size: A comfortable group size. Enough people to make it fun, but still easy to move around and enjoy the stops. Staff: Organized, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everything ran smoothly. They included water, beers, rum punch, sodas, a breakfast pastry, fresh fruit, and shrimp ceviche, which added good value to the overall experience. This was great for people who want a full-day mix of snorkeling, island time, and a relaxed sail back without it feeling overly commercial. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Belize and want to see Hol Chan and Shark & Ray Alley in one trip. ***This is a steal. If you did each of these excursions separately it would be way more expensive. This is such a great deal!

This is a must do adventure with the best of the best crew! From our greeting from our Capt Jerry to help from our guides Danny, Eddy and Jervis it was such an incredible day! Swam with nurse sharks in Shark Alley, snorkeld with gorgeous fish at Hol Chan Marine reserve- lunch was delicious and a quick stop for lizard juice topped the day off! Sign up with Solstice and these guys - only issue was the location finder in the Viator app- they should just have ya google map to Xsite not just Black Ciral

What an awesome experience! I definitely recommend! We did the Hol Chan Snorkeling + Shark Ray Alley + Caye Caulker trip and my entire group had a wonderful day but don't expect to get the boat to yourselves if you have a big group. If you have a big group and there's availability, I'd recommend booking a private trip through Xsite. Bring a good Hydroflask or metal tumbler cup, towels, and lots of sunscreen! 🟢 Good experiences: • The snorkeling at Hol Chan was definitely the highlight. We got pretty lucky and got to see dolphins, green sea turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, and tons of beautiful fish. • They had plenty of rum punch to go around for the entire day and poured generously! (They always make sure your cup is full regardless of the size, so bring a big insulated metal cup!) • Plenty of beer, sodas, and water. • Caye Caulker was awesome as well and we had some great food, but there was a bit of a wait. You definitely gotta get a pitcher of green lizard juice to hold you over! (I know it sounds gross but it's not.) • The day we went was perfect and it was a super smooth ride. • If you're going as a couple and want to meet a lot of people while booze cruisin', then this is a good trip to take since basically our entire boat was filled with ages 20-40. 🟠 Not so good experiences: • We had a group of 13 people and expected to basically have the boat to ourselves, because on Viator (the app we booked through) we could only book up to 15 adults, so we assumed incorrectly that there were only 15-20 spots on each boat. But anyways, there ended up being about 12 others on the boat (excluding the 4 or 5 crew members). So it was a bit crowded and there wasn't very much room on the nets towards the front of the boat that let you sit over the water. Also there weren't a whole lot of padded seats, bean bag chairs, and actual chairs on the deck. • They should have some more cushions/bean bags or chairs on the boat if it's gonna be crowded. A couple people from my group basically stood or had to sit on the hard deck of the ship the whole day, which they said got uncomfortable after a bit.

The entire day was amazing! The crew were friendly, professional, funny and immediately gave us a briefing on everything we were going to be doing throughout the day. Their run punch is dangerously good and the snorkeling we did at Hol Chan was by far the highlight of the day. We got to see green sea turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, dolphins, and tons of beautiful fish. I highly recommend this trip! However keep in mind that each boat isn't private. We had a group of 13 and they still filled the boat to about 20 or so people.

  • Incredible must-do tour in San Pedro

The tour I had been searching for to experience the waters of Belize. So organized, professional planned. The marine life is rampant, and I was able to swim with (nurse) sharks for the first time! The crew with Eddy, Din, Rahim, Garry, and our captain Chilo took great care of me as a solo female traveler and seemed ready to respond to any random question I threw their way. I was amazed w what they can accomplish on the boat; our ceviche was restaurant quality and delicious! The rum lunch, which happens to be my favorite cocktail, kept flowing, I couldn’t keep up. Lol. Our tour group was lucky the owner’s son Bryce joined us, he offered us a unique different perspective of life in Belize. The meeting point is an ideal location within Town.

This was the absolute perfect day. The snorkeling experience was amazing. The crew was excellent. My only wish was that we had more time at Caye Caulker, but that was our fault for waiting for chef Kareem’s food for over an hour and not getting it. Unfortunately, nothing to do with this crew or trip. Such a great day and we had said at one point it was so reasonable, we would’ve paid more for the experience we had. Eddy was our guy and he was superb!

Fun filled full day excursion including 2 snorkeling stops & sailing to Cay Cauker. Xcite Belize catamaran Salis - Captain Jerry & crew: Din, Fito, & Rose treated us to great guided snorkeling, a tour of Caye Caulker to feed the tarpons, beverages (rum punch & Belikin) and fresh shrimp ceviche. A fun time was had by all! Would highly recommend booking an excursion with Xcite Belize and this crew…
