What To Expect
Travelers and Tourists visiting Sri Lanka can now rent a large van through Lanka Safe Tours. Chauffeur driven services will be provided to our clients at the best competitive rates. A standard large van can accommodate 8 adults and their luggage. Drive around Colombo or explore Sri Lanka while you sit back and relax. Enjoy a road trip with your friends and family and let your chauffeur worry about the driving and traveling. Your friendly, chauffeur will accompany you to most sights, as you journey into the heart of Sri Lanka and enjoy the various experiences the island nation has to offer. We will be providing you a Standard A/C Large Van with FUEL for 100 km Per Day. (Note that the millage is anticipated based on a minimum of 100 KM per day) and any excess mileage is to be billed at the rate of USD 0.35 per Kilo Meter.
What‘s Included
Service of an English Speaking Chauffeur Guide. (Will accompany you to most sights)
Maximum Load: Eight (08) adults and luggage.
A Standard A/C Large Van with FUEL for 100 km per day. (Not limited to 100 km per day)
Parking & Highway Toll Fees (If any)
The driver’s time allocation per day is 8 hours, generally between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm
Your mileage will start and ends in Negombo.
The driver's time can be extended (extra charge $7.50 per hour)
If the pickup/drop location not Negombo, the mileage from/to the pickup location is payable by you.
All prevailing government taxes (Subject to change without prior notice
Excess mileage over the free daily allowance to be billed at the end of the tour at USD 0.35 per KM.
Entry Visa Fees
Any expenses of personal nature.
Driver's Accommodation is not included in the price.
If driver's accommodation isnt given from the hotel, we request you to pay $15 for the driver's stay

5.00We spontaneously required a driver from Ella to Kandy as the trains were not running, he was available within 10 minutes! A calm and good driver, we felt very safe:) Really nice experience, we would definitely drive with him again!!

5.00We went for a day trip to Sigiriya, to climb Lions Rock. Right on time we we’re picked up in the morning by our driver from Lanka Safe Tours. Outside our spacious van for the day was waiting. The car was very well maintained and the drive felt very safe. As we did not had breakfast we asked if we could stop for some food on the way. Our driver stopped at a nice bakery. On the way we stopped at the spice garden. Which came recommended by our driver. It was a great experience. When we arrived at Lions Rock our driver helped us navigate past all the tour guides that want to guide you. As we told our driver we die not want a guide. The driver escorted us to the ticket office, from where we continued on our own. After Lions Rock we felt in for climbing another rock. Our driver brought us to Pidurangala rock. After climbing that rock, we went for lunch. As we wanted local curry the driver took us to the best local curry place. On the way back we made another stop at the cave temples. It was a great day with Lanka Safe Tours. I would highly recommend them. Its comfortable and they help you making the best of your day.
