Torrential rains all day, yet this was the best day of our trip. Start to finish, everything was terrific. Pickup was prompt, drive was smooth, sites were incredible, food excellent. Had so much fun at the Cenote. Best, our guide, Mauricio Dzul, is of Mayan heritage and is a wealth of knowledge with a lot of pride in his culture. We learned a great deal about the area, the history, and the people, past and present. Highly recommended.

Was not a fan of majority of this. Was sold as a trip to Chichen Itza, with a stop at Cenotes, we stopped an additional two times, once for shops, once for food which was only told to us at the end of the visit to Chichen Itza that we would be going elsewhere for food. Chichen Itza itself, very nice and cool to look at, everything else along the way, and after and the stories that followed etc, it’s very very long winded. Believe we were there for 2and a half hours, just a very long time. Came across two different families who walked away due to having children. The weather was also diabolical, aware this can’t be helped but it poured it down, to the point where you can get images with no one in it. But there’s next to no shelter so everyone was drenched. Staff were nice, just stories dragged and were re told a couple of times. Also found out after back on the bus heading home, the images that were mentioned by the staff. He stated he took the images, created the story of how he had to do this for two years, work with the government before being allowed to get these images. These images, are all online, on multiple pages and even instagram. Not great If you have time, and wish to see a wonder of the world, best to get this out of the way on a day like that! Best for boring days or lack of plan days. It’s a long trip there and back, a very long day overall. Left at 8am, arrived back to hotel in Cancun at 9PM Also don’t forget you enter another time zone, so you go back a further hour!

The whole day was great! Picked up by Marco (tour driver) and Mauricio (tour guide) . Started with visit to Chichen Itza Mayan ruins, amazing to see , very interesting and Mauricio was full of information about the site and culture being a Mayan himself. Next was buffet lunch in local village which was nice, saw some Mayan dancers and traditional crafts . Then a swim in a Cenote ( natural freshwater spring) you can jump in or drop from a zip line. The water was refreshing after spending time in heat and humidity. Then was into another local town where we saw a Catholic Church , some locals doing traditional dance in the square . It was a long day but very interesting.

It was a full day tour from Cancun. It was very hot and humid but otherwise we really had a great experience. Our tour guides: Ricardo and Christian, and the whole team are very informative, detailed oriented and they go above and beyond. We highly recommend this tour!

We booked this excursion with Jossie at the Presidente Continental Resort. She was pleasant and informative. Our driver was Kiko and tour guides were Abel & Jerry. Both of them were phenomenal and committed to providing us with a memorable, safe, and educational experience. We were in Jerry’s Spanish speaking group. His passion & knowledge for the Mayan culture was infectious. He went above and beyond by providing an educational and personalized experience. We even got to participate in a Shaman ceremony. Be prepared for a lot of walking and for the heat—it is well worth it. Highly recommended this excursion. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you Jerry, Abel, & Kiko!
