What To Expect
A short drive will take us to Chipinque Park where we will hike for about 2.0 hours at an easy hike with almost 0 incline. We will have mid-hike break at a great spot for pictures. We will use headlamps during the afternoon timing if necessary. Get ready to enjoy the beautiful scenery! The temperature for this hike tends to be cooler than in the city, making this adventure a great option for the summer months (be sure to wear sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses)

5.00Beautifully preserved, an amazing place for hiking and outdoor activities. Home to many endemic and migratory birds, and unique fauna from the region. It is common to see coaties, black bears, racoons, etc. Great place for kids as there are activities for all ages. Climbing to the M or the eagle’s crest is worth with a guided expert tour. One of Mexico’s beautiest parks.

5.00This tour was perfect. Nice hike to the sign with beautiful views of the city. The mountains are so incredibly majestic. We were fortunate to have the tour guide Polo! He is informative and insures everyone is doing good on the hike. I would definitely recommend this hike while visiting Monterrey!! Bring snacks or Gatorade. You can also pick up at the little store. Driver will have beverages and walking sticks to offer.

5.00We had such a wonderful time on the Chipique Mountain walk! The views were absolutely breathtaking — endless scenery, fresh mountain air, and the peacefulness of being surrounded by nature made it a truly unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Deme, was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel completely safe throughout the hike. We even had an unexpected wildlife encounter with a bear (yes, really!), but Deme handled it with such calm and confidence that we never felt at risk. The logistics were flawless as well — pickup from our hotel and drop-off afterward went smoothly and right on time. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and experience the raw beauty of the mountains, all while being in great hands with a guide like Deme!

5.00This is a great hike with beautiful views and interesting local landmarks. The upper hike isn't flat but the incline is fairly gentle and forgiving. The views throughout are beautiful with the main lookout being breathtaking. So much so I will likely go for the same hike again at sunrise rather than sunset just to get photos with the different lighting. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a lovely time and Polo was an INCREDIBLE host. The morning hike was ideal for us as the temperatures are beginning to rise. The hike was more challenging than expected but the group wasn't rushed so we all did just fine, but be prepared for a lot of uphill and downhill steps. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone traveling to Monterrey!

5.00Great sunset tour with Polo. Pick up on time at our hotel in a new grand cherokee. Very clean SUV. He supplied water or gatorade and trail snacks before, during and after the hike. Polo is a experienced hiker and knows the area very well. I felt safe the entire trip. He asked each one of us our physical condition for the hike and informed us that we might see animals on the hike. Once we hiked to the city view the sun was setting over the mountains, city lights coming on and the wonderful colors appearing. We stayed there for 15-20 minutes taking pictures and talking. The hike: It is a good hike and you need to be in good condition for the 45 min up and 45 min down. Wear hiking boots, sneakers, or good boots with traction. Do not wear flats, sandals or or heals. If you have any knee or hip problems or shortness of break its probably not for you. There is also a place you can drive on your own and see the sunset if you decide not to take the hike.
