What To Expect

Visit Enrico Rizzi's Chocolate Factory, located in the heart of Milan, just minutes away from Piazza del Duomo, and uncover the secrets of a handcrafted "bean-to-bar" workshop. Here, exceptional cocoa beans are transformed into chocolate, starting from roasting all the way to the final bar. The journey begins in the sensory room, where advanced “Virtual Reality 360” technology offers an immersive and captivating experience. Explore a Peruvian cacao plantation and witness the harvesting, fermentation, and drying of cocoa beans. The tour continues through the roasting room and the "chocoteca," a climate-controlled space where chocolate rests and matures with spices, teas, and infusions. Finally, in the laboratory area, visitors can watch the cocoa bean transformation process—from shell separation to slow stone grinding. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of three to five grand cru chocolates. Depending on the ticket purchased, guests will enjoy different types of tastings. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, with a maximum of 8 guests per visit. English tours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 4 PM / Saturday at 12 PM.

I was really impressed by the Milan Chocolate Factory! The environment is very welcoming, Fulvio was kind and available to explain every stage of the processing. The chocolate is of high quality: intense scent and a great variety of products. An experience that I absolutely recommend to those who love chocolate or want to make a special gift!

I knew this world only as a layman. The guided path that takes you from the jute bag to the tablet is illuminating thanks to Enrico’s team who passionately tells his work. In the end the tasting of 5 bars, accompanied by a glass of sherry, also gratified the palate!

I attended several presentations by Enrico Rizzi and they were all unique and interesting. The quality of the raw materials he uses is excellent and, during presentations, Enrico is always very courteous and available to explain his creations. I would say that chocolate, macarons and ice cream are always a pleasant surprise!!!

Spectacular!! We did a guided tour starting with a 3D viewer video of a cocoa plantation , we all saw processing and tasted 5 different types of chocolate. Recommended absolutely!
