This is charming fun story developed by our very well informed guide. He used the evidence in the walls of Carcassonne to illustrate the story of its different purposes and many different rulers.

Great site, full of history. The numerous renovations make the discovery of this city even more interesting. Many souvenir shops, many restaurants, everything is there for a beautiful day Do not hesitate to register for guided tours, some of which take place at night.

Our guide was a delightful young woman. She knew her history of the Medieval City. Were most impressed with how she moved us through the citadel and ended our tour at a very scenic overlook.

Majestic quote from Carcassonne. Beautiful walk in the cobblestone alleys and a plate of gambas on the square in a great brewery

Very nice place worth the detour, back in the Middle Ages, really to see at least once. We just have the Impression of being disconnected from everything...

Great tour! Lydia was very pleasant, knowledgeable, spoke good English and was easy to be with. We learned a lot about the history of Carcassonne and the area. Highly recommend this tour and her as a tour guide.

Always seduced by this beautiful city. We went there this year as part of the festival. I did not give four stars because this year there are many scaffolding for the repair of the ramparts and it does not facilitate shooting. This year the city is pleasant under the sun because it is not too hot, but watch out for the wind. The visit of the castle is interesting.
