  • Purple line does not keep the schedule posted

The purple line is very infrequent we waited almost 2 hours for a purple line to come. There were many green lines but no purple the red and green line were fine. However if you sit inside you can’t see out the window because there are graphics on it

  • Not so Sure it helped with city orientation

Took the trip to get to know the layout of Greece. After taking the tour, I didn’t think it helped my orientation. Trump talk about the narrative. I thought could’ve been more interesting, and their trip seemed like it went on forever. Some people were falling asleep.

  • Helpful staff at bus stops

Economical way to get around Athens. Be sure to purchase full access if you’re coming in on a cruise ship. The service was excellent because there were attendants at each stop to assist in finding which bus to take to get to a certain place. Keep in mind that many people use the service so the buses can get crowded but we always were able to get a seat.

  • Good way to get your bearings

Very convenient way to get your bearings of the city. We stopped and re-joined the bus a couple of times and it was very easy. We did this on our first day and it helped enormously with the rest of our stay in Athens
