This tour was one of our favourite activities in La Paz! Jorge was a wonderful guide who taught us so much about La Paz and Bolvian history in a short span of time. Exploring La Paz by foot and cable car was a great way to learn about the city as it can be quite overwhelming.

This tour was a bit lack luster. Learning about the spirituality and rituals in Bolivia in the Witches Market was interesting, but other than that I don't know that doing this tour gained us much beyond what we could have gained from a self-guided exploration other than maybe a bit of convenience and safety. The price is quite cheap so I guess it's fine, but then you need to factor in tipping the guide. I think I would have preferred to do a more expensive tour that incorporated more of the city and had possibly a more lively and interested guide.

We were in La Paz in May 2026, at a very tense time in Bolivia. With the help of the guide Natália we were able to know places that we were not having access on our own - we felt safe with her. The city tour was very interesting.

We went on the La Paz walking and cable car tour with Nikko, our guide. The tour was excellent and we highly recommend it. Nikko spoke excellent English, was very clear and he told us so many interesting things about the history of La Paz, the architecture, culture and politics in Bolivia, past and present. He also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and after the tour we felt confident to explore the city by ourselves. The cable car ride was exciting and we travelled on several of the lines. Thank you Nikko.

Given this was my first time in Bolivia, I was looking for an interesting history/walking tour the day after arriving. This was a great experience, everything went as planned from the group meetup to exploring the markets, learning the history and culture, and navigating the cable cars. Nikko was a great guide and offered additional tips getting around and learning about La Paz on my own and other attractions in Bolivia to visit.

This city walk is highly recommended. Our guide Nico showed us important landmarks while explained the Bolivian society and culture and some historic highlights. Hearing about how indigenous traditions and habits affect daily life was particularly interesting. Nico took good care of the group and guided us safely through the sometimes hectic traffic. The ride in the cable-car systen was another highlight which gave us an excellent overview of the city and some amazing views. We also visited a gallery with original pieces of art that you don't find in the usual tourist outlets.

It was a good tour, seeing lots of sights of La Paz and El Alto, from both the ground and the air (in the cable cars). The views from the cable cars were great - snow capped mountains and we were lucky to have beautiful sun on the afternoon tour on the cable car down from El Alto. The guide was generally good, with interesting information. The tour started quite abruptly without much friendly introduction or personal touches, but we got to know each other better later on. It was great that they sorted the cable car tickets and helped guide you through the stations. The TripAdvisor description / 'What to expect' sections could be updated or made clearer that they may be example routes, as we didn't use a minibus through El Alto, the yellow or green lines or visit the stylish south. Maybe the minibus would only be on El Alto market days (Thur and Sun) but I didn't understand this from the description. I was looking forward to these parts as we had already ridden many of the lines we took on a separate experience. Overall, it was a good tour. You feel safe and looked after and we learnt lots more about La Paz.

Natalia was a great guide! She was very informative, pleasant, and helpful. La Paz is such a unique city, and the teleferico cable car system is amazing, so experiencing it with a guide just makes sense. Half the time was walking and half the time was riding the cars. It gave me the assurance I needed to follow up the next day and do all of the colors on my own, which was so much fun! Highly recommended!
