Our tour guide Sarah picked us up at the appointed time and settled us into the van. She told us about the area, asked us what we wanted to see, there was some slight changes we were able to make to the tour itinerary which was awesome since my husband really wanted to see some Pictish stones. Glenfarclas did a very good and thorough distillery tour, with a wee tasting at the end in a beautiful room. We were able to get the Cooperage tour which you should not miss. We did two more tastings and a quick visit to a working wool mill: Knockando Woolmill. Sarah was a great driver and tour guide. This tour was worth it, 100%!

It was very meaningful to visit three whisky breweries and even a barrel manufacturing plant. The driver's guide is friendly and talkative. Even if I couldn't hear enough English, I was able to convey integrity. The area around Speyside is rolling hills where sheep graze leisurely.

George is a very kind and genuine person. Our tour experienced was elevated because of all the information he gave us and all the effort he put to take us around and manage all of our small requests while moving from one distillery to another. Very witty person with good stories and funny jokes. Amazing experience 👍🏻

George was the perfect Scottish guide. We contacted him ahead of time by messaging and requested a specific distillery and his choice for the rest of the day. As we drove he pointed out interesting sights and answered any questions we had. His knowledge of the various distilleries in the area was extensive. We had the full tour of my husband’s favorite distillery and tastings at two others. In addition we learned about the refurbishing of the casks at the area cooperage. We had a quick lunch at a very nice sandwich shop as well. Keep n mind the guide will book the distillery tours but admission payment was our responsibility and not included in the tour fee. The entire day was pleasant, informative and not at all rushed. Big surprise to me was that I have never enjoyed my husband’s scotch whisky but loved the very peaty one I tried. We both would highly recommend the tour, especially with George!
