Jerash Ruins
Pickup Amman hotel lobby and drive 50kms northward to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Once a member of the Decapolis the town experienced its heydays under the Romans. Explore the spectacular Forum, the Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, theatres and the Temple of Artemis.
Al Balad – Downtown Amman
Back in Amman proceed to the historical places in downtown. You start with the visit of the Citadel to enjoy views over the hilly capital. On the Citadel itself you see remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, like the Hercules Temple and the Umayyad Palace, and the small Archaeological Museum. Not far away we find the Roman Theatre, which can accommodate up to 6,000 visitors. In the heart of downtown we stroll the markets (Souq), where to find fruit, vegetables, spices, herbs, clothes, household goods and more. Transfer to your hotel.
Mount Nebo
Check-out from hotel and drive to Mt. Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses. If the weather allows you will have like him a view of the Promised Land. In the remains of the Moses Memorial Church, constructed in the 4th century, you see beautiful mosaics.
St. George's Church
Short ride to the town of Madaba, known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaic art. Certainly you see the popular 6th century map of Palestine in the Greek Orthodox St. George’s Church. If you like, free time to stroll in the town.
Karak Castle
Afterward we drive to Kerak along the famous ancient biblical caravan route, the King's Way. We have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Visit in Kerak the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Proceed 2 hours to Petra.
Petra
Today visit the highlight of Jordan, the red rose city Petra! You are able to start as early as 06:00, but early birds, don’t forget to ask the hotel for a breakfast box the day before. Meet your local guide and pass the narrow canyon, the so called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After around 2 hours the guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area. You have free time to explore Petra on your own. The young at heart for instance have the chance to climb the 800 stairs to the 45 meters high Monastery El Deir. Return to the main gate. Overnight in Petra.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Drive 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. Embark a 4x4 and with your Bedouin driver uncover more of the vast desert. The rugged scenery, the changing colours of sands and mountains, the serene atmosphere will make you understand why Wadi Rum is one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. The setting had been used for Hollywood movies. You see canyons, red sand dunes, Nabatean rock inscriptions and a natural rock bridge formed over centuries.
Dead Sea Region
Continue 4 hours to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. The salty water of the lake lets you float, not swim. The mud on the shores is supposed to have healing properties for the skin. Overnight Dead Sea hotel.
Depending on departure time pickup Dead Sea hotel lobby and drive 1 hour to Amman Airport to say farewell to Jordan!

I just came back from Jordan and have already recommended Petra Night Tour Company to many friends and family!! 1. The tour company: First class service. Quick response. Very good at understanding clients’ needs and preferences, and explaining pros/cons when exploring more customised travel plan with clients. A trusted tour company which is a rare find! 2. Driver and tour guides: They are FANTASTIC! (A) Mr Mohamed Masoud, our driver, is such a gentleman! He drove safe and well - which is super important as we spent much time on the road. He was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to our need, always being a step ahead to make sure we enjoyed every bit of the trip! 10/10! (B) Mr Yahya in Wadi Rum, our driver/guide for the jeep tour. He showed us the best of the desert - be prepared to be surprised! We learnt a lot about the life and culture of the local from My Yahya. He is absolutely lovely! Secret - He took some of our best photos in the trip - professional-standard! (C) Mr Freddy - Very responsible, dedicated and enthusiastic! If you have a big group or have elderly in your group, he is the go-to guy as he is patient and thoughtful. Good knowledge on biblical sites. (D) Mr Ali - we had a short two-hour trip with Mr Ali at Petra. Very polite and knowledgable. 3. Suncity Glamping: The tour company recommended/ booked this for us. It was SUPER! Very friendly and attentive staff. Absolutely unique experience beyond my expectation. ⭐️⭐️ Tip for other travellers: Coming from London which is pretty much a cashless society, I did not bring too much cash with me. I wish I did so that I could have tipped more generously to support the local economy and to recognise the excellent services of many people who helped us in this trip! I wish the tour company would have highlighted the tipping culture in advance.

A fantastic experience! Each day a cultural highlight.. Well looked after by our lovely guide Tayseer.. Making sure we avoided the main coach tours and crowds. Not only did we see the main attractions of Jordan but also had the individual touches such as drinking bedouin tea in the desert with actual bedouins. Jordan has such a wonderful heritage and history. Would thoroughly recommend.

A knowledgeable guide of the country's history and culture. Constant care with the comfort and satisfaction of customers. Availability to adjust the itinerary and activities to the liking of the tourist, always with valuable advice on what to visit and when to visit. We couldn't have had a better option to get to know Jordan.

Our private tour guide and driver Tayseer is incredibly knowledgeable and considerate towards my mom and I on our 7-day Jordan tour. He goes out of his way to make every important stop on the tour so we can experience the most about Jordan's rich culture and history. He also takes great photos of us and knows how to better take care of us than ourselves in Jordan. He also finds the best and cleanest restaurants for us to eat at so we always feel well rested and energetic for our trip.

I spent one week in Jordan and it was one of my best trip ever. My driver Muawiah was a gentleman and so nice person. He is punctual, speaks very good English and knows impressively his country. I also had good guides and all of them speak English and other languages very well. Jordan is open for tourism, people wear masks and sanitizer is available everywhere. Up to now there aren’t too many tourists even in Petra so it’s easy to keep the social distance. If available one day more enquire about a visiting to the baptismal site where Jesus was baptized by Saint John and recognized by Vatican.
