A tiring but interesting day in Taipei.

Joy managed to tailor the day to our specific needs, as my wife had hurt her knee and had limited ability to climb stairs or walk too far. Her knowledge of the National Palace Museum was excellent as otherwise we would not have known where to start in a place where we had 1 hour and you could have spent days, as there is so much to see. She was able to ensure that we could eat at a vegetarian restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon she took us to both a temple and the Chang Kai Shek memorial. She even gave us clear instructions on how best to get back to our hotel at the end of the tour. Many thanks Joy.

This is an essential trip to orientate yourself to Taipei and the historical aspects. Our guide Gordon was so knowledgeable and provided the exact amount of information we needed to appreciate the history of this beautiful city. Gordon timed the day perfectly so we were able to see a couple of changing of the guards at the temples and monuments and his commentary during The Palace Museum tour was really fantastic. Highly recommended 👌

Nice guide but had terrible cough and cold. He should have not worked. I am quite worrried about catching it. The pick up spot is way too hard to find. An mrt station with a certain exit. Had about 7 exits and had 2 second exits. Everyone complained about it. Being dropped for lunch in area that did not appeal to western tastes.
