Experience the thrill of claybird shooting with our qualified instructors. There are a range of guns available including: 12 gauge under and overs. 410 Shotguns are available if a smaller gun is preferred. All safety gear is provided. Our facility is set in the stunning native bush overlooking beautiful Lake Rotorua. Travel up Mount Ngongotaha to the shooting facility in our 4WD buggy which seats up to 5 people - an experience not to be missed!

5.00Such an amazing clay shooting experience - easily one of the best things to do in Rotorua. Everything was well run and so much fun. Peter was an incredible instructor - patient, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel at ease. We even had the whole place to ourselves, and the view from the hill was beautiful. The added buggy ride to the location really amped up the thrill too. Highly recommend!

5.00We had such a great time at Claybird Shooting in Rotorua! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel safe and comfortable even though it was our first time trying this activity. The instructors gave clear and easy-to-follow guidance, and the whole experience was very well organized. It was exciting, challenging, and surprisingly satisfying when you hit the target! The location is also beautiful, surrounded by nature, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well maintained and run smoothly. This is definitely a must-try activity if you're visiting Rotorua and looking for something fun and different. Highly recommended for couples or anyone wanting a new adventure!

5.00I really enjoyed the clay bird target shooting experience. The venue was easy to get to and set in a nice, scenic location, which made the whole experience even better. The instructor was easy-going, friendly, and very helpful, especially for beginners. They explained everything clearly and gave great tips that made the clay shooting fun and achievable. Overall, it was an awesome experience and something I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking to try clay target shooting.
