What To Expect
Upon arrival, each guest will be fitted with an appropriately sized life vest and briefed on the basics of paddling a kayak. Guests will then be assisted into the kayaks in the water. Our tour guides will then guide guests down the southwestern coast of the island while pointing out and giving information about the different types of coral and wildlife lurking in the reef. The option also exists to be towed in the clear kayak behind our motorboat if guests get tired of paddling. Guests can expect to come across a plethora of land sea, and shore bird species in their natural habitats. Most of them nest on the cliffs that overlook the tour path. Likewise, beneath the waves, you can view a number of coral species, especially elk-horn and fire corals, along with a myriad of tropical fish species. Of these tropical fish, the most commonly seen on our tours are small herbivores such as parrot fish, surgeonfish, and damselfish. You may also luckily see rays, octopi, sea urchins, sea stars, and green sea turtles. The tour also includes a stop at one of the beautiful, secluded beaches down the coast, where guests can have some refreshing coconut water, straight from the shell.

5.00Gabriel and Morey were excellent guides and hosts for our kayaking adventure around the peaks of Quanatine Point, Morne Rouge, and BBC Bay. They knew the history of the location and were extremely knowledgeable with regards to the different types of corral and sea life in the area as well as what we were likely to see on the voyage. Their patience and understanding that we were not kayaking champions and more like beginners made the experience very comfortable. We highly recommend this adventure.

5.00This is a fun experience. Gabriel and Morey were very experienced at organizing 8 adults, getting us into the kayaks, and exploring a few bays. They were attentive, competent, and great communicators. We had the option to paddle on our own or be towed in a line. They brought us to a deserted beach for a swim and gave us fresh coconut water. The experience is best for a calm sunny day, but if the weather gods are totally in your favor, it is still a great time. The beachside restaurant/bar where we met offers good food, has clean bathrooms, and a shower. There is also the option to stay on the beach afterwards for more relaxing, swimming, etc. Give yourself plenty of time to find the beach if you’re not sure where it is. The roads are slow and can have a bit of traffic. It can be helpful to have a small towel to wipe the bottom of the kayak to seem even better. It was a great way for us to enjoy our last day of vacation! Thank you!!!!
