Embark on a sensory tour through the different flavors of chocolate in Colombia! We will sample chocolates from 5 different regions with differing percentages of cocoa. We will learn all about the chocolate production process, as well as the different tropical fruits that the Colombian cocoa is paired with.
Each person will choose their favorite cocoas that they sampled and then we will learn how to make our own chocolate truffle creations out of them! Afterwards everyone will get to take home their own handmade chocolates in a small gift box.
Finally we will indulge in a pastry and hot chocolate treat to wrap up our tour. You will have a choice between a traditional almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, mantecada, or an arepa made of: corn, anise, cheese, boyacense, or santandereana.
By joining us on this tour you are not only enjoying a unique gastronomic experience, but you´re also helping to support local Colombian businesses.

This was the best chocolate tour! It ended up being just me and my friend with the guide, which was perfect because we could ask all our questions & we got to learn so much about the chocolate growing and production process. The shop they teach the class in is so cute & has lots of goodies available for purchase. We got to try five types of chocolate, hot chocolate, tea, cocoa juice, and bread. Well worth the time & money. We had Melissa as our guide and she was the absolute BEST!!!

I booked this experience for my birthday and it was so special. Melissa and Juan were incredibly kind and generous in sharing about the culture and history of Colombia through chocolate. It was a magical and unique experience that should not be missed.

This was an amazing experience. We got to try several different types of chocolate from different regions, as well as several other Colombian snacks. They taught us about the process of making chocolate. It was very informative and everything tasted amazing. Our hosts were great! I would do this again.

An amazing, interesting, fun and delicious experience. Instead, you also try authentic local Colombian food. It's interesting to hear about the chocolate story , and the production process , in addition to learning about the history of South America , very interesting. You can also buy chocolate instead. The guide is amazing!

This was a great workshop - one of our favourite things we did in Bogota. We both learned a lot, ate a lot (of chocolate, fruit and snacks) and had fun. Highly recommend!
