Monteverde Hanging Bridges & Night Wildlife Combo Tour – Two Protected Reserves in One Afternoon Experience the best of Monteverde’s biodiversity on this unique combo tour combining the famous Hanging Bridges Jungle with a guided Night Wildlife Walk in a protected rainforest refuge. Your adventure begins at Selvatura Park, where a professional naturalist guide leads you along scenic forest trails and spectacular suspension bridges high above the cloud forest canopy. From this unique perspective, you may observe tropical birds, hummingbirds, toucans, orchids, and, with some luck, the legendary Resplendent Quetzal. The hanging bridge walk continues until approximately 4:30 PM, while your guide explains the ecology and biodiversity of this extraordinary ecosystem. After the canopy walk, we travel about 6 km to a nearby Wildlife Refuge for the second part of the experience. As night falls, the forest becomes active with nocturnal life. During the guided night walk, you may observe frogs, sleeping birds, sloths, insects, bats, and reptiles.
