There are two options:
2-hour option includes walking tour of communist-era Czechoslovakia. Does not include the 70s canteen or bunker.
4-hour option includes the 2-hour walking tour, 30 mins break in a 70s canteen and nuclear bunker (admission to Cold War Museum is included in price).

What To Expect
Republic Square
Learn how Czechoslovakia declared independency in 1918 and why Hitler was so interested in taking this state as first. Get to know some historical facts from the WW2 which had impact on the post-war development of the state. Find out why the communist party of Czechoslovakia won the elections in 1946.

5.00I had a great time on the tour. My guide, Clara, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. The bunker was very cool. Lunch at the canteen was a fun experience as well. Clara really made the tour memorable, she was awesome!

5.00Clara was very knowledgeable and also offered ideas for meals etc. The bunker was very interesting. Also the descriptions of the type of life people had in the Communist era was very enlightening. We had no idea how hard it was for the people. We were 6 people with her for the time. When we went to the canteen for lunch we all sat together and she helped us to pick out our meals. Prices were very reasonable and there was a special price for seniors. We never would have had the experience of eating here and eating typical Czech food without her help. Thank you Clara for such an enjoyable time.

5.00It was a very interesting tour at a nice slow pace by guide Klara. As a result, Prague was seen very differently than before. Klara told very accessible in good English about the modern history of the Czech Republic occasionally also with a personal anecdote. About the war and the cold war after that. Lunch together in a Czech canteen (these costs are for your own account, not included in the tour, but very affordable). Highly recommended if you are interested in history!
