Marvin and Ben were the best people to spend the day with. Marvin was enthusiastic kind and honest and had such a great way of delivering the information so we got a holistic picture of Johannesburg and surrounds. While we received a lot of really heavy information Marvin was a bright smiling face to be around. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get to know the history of South Africa and spend a day with great guides

Marvin is very skilled in delivering a lot of information at the right time and pace throughout this jam packed day. Just the right amount of history and culture- but still with a great deal of humanity and humour even when covering difficult subject matter. And all the while skillfully navigated by Ben. We all would definately recommended this tour.

A great day, exceeded our high expectations. Our guide Marvin was superb, extremely knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and flexible. Supported by an excellent driver, Ben, in a lovely, clean vehicle. Highly recommended!

We had a great day with Ali as our guide on this immersive and thought provoking all day tour. There was a great mix of sights as well as Soweto and the Apartheid Musuem is confronting even if you think you know some of the Apartheid history. A highly recommended tour. Ali is a great host.

Spent the day with a lovely guide Emma, who was knowledgeable and informative. Entry to all the exhibitions went smoothly and any questions we had Emma was able to answer. The tour really covers the whole black/white segregation issue. We also stopped for some traditional African cooking for lunch. It was a good tour made even better by Emma who was charming.

Great day, our guide was well informed and a pleasure to talk to. Constitution hill was very confronting as it was still in use up until relatively recently. Soweto was for me the highlight, these people have nothing, but never once was I hassled or felt unsafe. The vibe near Mandela house was amazing and the food delicious. strongly recommend you do this tour next time your are in Johannesburg.

The apartheid museum is a record of the unacceptable way the whites treated the non-whites. Gandhi and Mandela are such amazing Humans who fought injustice. A must go to place when in Joburg.
