!Note: During Ramadan "Holy Month" (expected approx. on February 18th to mid-March 2026), the experience moves to the afternoon and evening. The class will run from about 1:30 pm until around one hour after Iftar (sunset), so we can cook and eat together after the fast is broken. On Eid days, there is no market visit, as markets are usually closed and families celebrate at home. The experience will be adapted accordingly.! In this unique cooking course, you will get to know Tunisian cuisine with a local family. Each participant chooses their favorite dishes from a rich list. Whether vegan or meat lover, there is something for everyone. - Together we will buy the necessary ingredients at the market in Sousse. We will never ask you to pay for anything, no matter what dishes you have chosen. - Afterwards, we will drive to our home, a house of dreams, where a fortifying snack will be waiting for you. - Then, we will cook your dishes together. As we eat together, we enjoy the food together as a family. - We end this special cooking class with traditional Tunisian sweets and tea while relaxing together in our garden. !The cooking course is ALWAYS conducted by us personally!

I attended this cooking class with 2 teenagers and we had an absolutely great day. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rare kindness and warmth. Our guests know immediately how to put at ease and really make them feel at home, in a simple and authentic atmosphere. Visiting the medina was a real plus: I discovered beautiful places, off the classic paths, that I would never have found alone. A privileged moment, rich in exchanges and discoveries. As for the kitchen, Nisa is an excellent cook. The meal was simply delicious, more than generous and perfectly controlled. We shared a real feast, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. I was particularly touched by the quality of the welcome throughout the day.

We had the best time with Nabil and his lovely wife and daughter. Nabil was great at answering all of our questions about the food, the local area and Tunisia. Nabil’s home is beautiful and I would highly recommend this cooking class.

We did a local food during Ramadan experience. All we can say is WOW!! The family is amazing and we are very blessed they shared their food and religious culture with us. We are 2 couples and loved Tunisian food at the restaurant. Since this is so very different from other foods we have tried we decided to have a more in depth experience of spices and process to hopefully make similar foods at home. Our day started with Nabil showing us the Medina in Sousse. His favorite fish and vegetables markets. Amazing architecture and things we can find here in Tunisia to enhance our day to day experience. We visited and amazing olive shop on the way back where we left and spent the afternoon and early evening. Helping Nefisah and Nabil make our Ramada Breaking the Fast meal called Iftar. We waited for the end of Ramadan day. Experienced the family prayer and enjoyed the dinner which was Soup, Brik, spicy and not spicy dips with Fricassee, Tajin, then had the couscous and some home made cakes. Holy Moly what an amazing experience!!!! We found new friends and family in Tunisia and are very lucky to have such an amazing day!!! (Please excuse my spelling of the names. I apologize if I didn’t get it all correct).

Nothing to add to the many other reviews, except perhaps the fact that it is the time of Ramadan and there were not many other tourists, including at the medina.

We loved the market and cooking experience. We were picked up from the chosen spot and taken shopping for vegetables and spices. It was great to see the Sousse market with Nebil. The cooking class allowed to learn about the tunisian cuisine and try new flavours. Great class lead by such kind people 🥰

I gave my boyfriend the course for his birthday and I didn't regret it. Nabil picked us up and together with another couple we went to the souk to buy groceries. He showed us around, gave us tips and helpful info. Even if it got more bubbly we always felt comfortable together with Nabil. At Nabil's home we were greeted kindly by his wife Nissan. There was a rich and delicious breakfast. Then we started cooking. We prepared a variety of typical Tunisian dishes, all of which were very delicious. Definitely no breakfast, no one has to go hungry here:) Thank you for this lovely, family day!

A wonderful morning and early afternoon! Helping shop at the market made me feel like a local. Helping prepare the meal and then dining with the family was great too. The only things better were the hospitality and warmth. Very highly recommended!
