Great cooking class to introduce Nepali food! The cooking class takes place in a clean kitchen with a professional chef so you get a great experience. We had a small group (3 people) and there was the option tobl be as hands on or hands off as you wanted. If you want to be very involved, I would recommend you make that clear so you don't feel like you miss out. There was so much food! You make 3 dishes which as all meals in their own right, so come hungry! Highly recommended.

Katmandu cooking academy With Chef Vikram and Kamal. It was such a professional environment. When I arrived, I was served milk tea and was asked to choose three dishes to cook. I chose Thukpa, dal Bhat and yomari. We prepped the ingredients. Started the pressure cooker with rice and dal. Started the dough for the dessert. Prepared the base for the thukpa noodle soup and cooked the noodles. Then we Began cooking the curry and I learned about all the spices that are typically used. I loved learning and preparing Dal Bhat especially understanding the significance here in Nepal. I enjoyed the yomari too and I will try to cook everything, once i return home. Thank you showing me that i can cook your wonderful dishes of Nepal.
