As the dawn breaks at 5:30 am, your second day begins with an early start, ensuring you make the most of the tranquil morning hours. After a restful night at Hotel Berakah, we embark on our return journey to Antigua or Guatemala City. The early morning ride offers a serene experience, with the first light casting a golden hue over the landscapes of Honduras and Guatemala. Concluding your historical adventure, we'll drop you off at your original hotel. Please note: For guests selecting the Antigua option, our shuttle will conveniently pick you up directly from your hotel. If you opt for a pickup from Guatemala City, we'll arrange for you to be picked up at your hotel and then transported to a central meeting point – the Shell Aldana gas station located on Roosevelt Highway. Here, you'll join our shuttle for the onward journey, and this is where you will be dropped on the return. We've streamlined this process to ensure a smooth and efficient start to your adventure!

Good Introduction to Honduras from Guatemala

4.00I enjoyed this tour and I'm glad I got a taste of Honduras while in Antigua. The tour is coordinated by the Hotel where you stay, who also provides transportation services. You'll be picked up at the scheduled time and will share the automobile with other travelers doing general transfers. We left Antigua around 4 AM and arrived in Copán around noon. Included a bathroom stop and a breakfast stop. My one complaint is that the guide wasn't ready when we arrived so I killed two hours checking out the cute little town. Directly in front of the hotel there's the main square and some good restaurants. The Copán ruins are amazing and I loved it. I just wish I could've spent more time checking them out, but that was due to my actual copán excursion starting later than usual. My one suggestion to the provider is to make sure the guide is booked early once the driver is on his way. The remainder of the evening is spent free, where you can hire a tuktuk to take you to any good restaurant or place of interest in the area. You leave at 6 AM the next day back to Antigua. Overall, I do recommend if you're looking to check out Honduras while in Guatemala.

1.00AN INCREDIBLY BAD TOUR. First our driver to Copan arrived 1 hour fifteen minutes late. We were suppose to leave at 3:30 AM but closer to 5 AM from Antigua. Another person in our return group had to wait 4 HOURS for pickup day before. We arrived so late to Copan that our prearranged guide for ruins had already left. Next day to return, our driver encountered traffic outside Antigua and made everyone get out and walk 45 minutes with luggage to hotel. I won’t even go over lack of hot water or working appliances in room. As long as you do not care if you must wait for hours to be picked up and can walk with luggage on cobble streets this is your tour.

5.00The drive to Copan was very smooth and comfortable. Pick up was right on time and we made a breakfast stop. The guides (at the ruins and one who was with us the entire trip) were very nice and knowledgeable and answered all kinds of questions we had. They were also kind enough to recommend restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The hostel we stayed at was nice and clean and completely fine for one night.
