5.00Great experience, small group size was great-plenty of room to move around the boat. Jan and the staff were amazing catering for all guest needs with purpose and a smile. Wind made the trip the complete sailing experience 😄

5.00After getting picked up in Cairns we were looked after brilliantly by Robbie, Chad, Laos, and Cpt Jan. The introductory dives were incredible, seeing turtles, rays, reef sharks, and every type of fish. On our way back we had a pod of dolphins riding the bow wave to complete the trip - magic.

5.00I had an absolutely amazing time on the coral sea dreaming overnight. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the crew of Captain Sharn, Robby and Chad were. They always were making sure I had everything I needed. I’m an old fart and Sharn took me to the reef in the dinghy twice. Thx 🙏 again Sharn! The food was very good and while it wasn’t cruise food it tasted so good like the way food tastes when you go camping. There was coffee at 6:30am which is a must for me. The passengers were a great group and we all connected, crew and passengers. The sun and moon rise were beautiful. Snorkelers and divers were equally happy. A perfect trip for part of a perfect holiday! Oh yes, lest i forget, I forgot my coat on the boat and Jan fixed me up with getting it back. Randy

5.00We had the opportunity to snorkel 4 times in 4 different places. This boat accommodates a smaller group, so there is an opportunity to visit and to get to know the other participants and encourage/support each other in this adventure. My husband, our adult son and I enjoyed this experience together. Our son fulfilled a childhood dream of diving and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. The staff were very supportive and friendly. Motion Sickness Medication was recommended and even available at a cost on board if participants did not have any.

5.00Epic 2-Day Adventure with Oceanomad on Coral Sea Dreaming! I just finished an absolute ball of a trip—2 days and 1 night on the Coral Sea Dreaming for an Oceanomad dive adventure. Even with the wind howling, the experience was top-tier from start to finish. The Crew & Sailing: A massive shoutout to our skipper, Shan. She is an absolute legend behind the wheel. Despite the super windy conditions, she still managed to get the sails up for part of the journey and navigated us perfectly to the epic Michaelmas Cay. We were tucked away and sheltered by the Great Barrier Reef, and being the only boat diving and snorkeling right in front of that bird sanctuary was a dream. The Diving & Experience: The trip is a small group only tour, which made it feel so intimate and fun. There was absolutely no rush—the crew adjusted everything to exactly what our group wanted. Chad and Robbe were incredible. Not only did they keep the vibes high and the food awesome, but they were also our dive instructors and guides. They took us down to see some truly insane stuff—their knowledge of the reef is next level. Back on Land: The legendary service didn't stop at the water's edge. Jan was ready at the marina to welcome us back to land. We had some great stories and a solid hang-out session before heading off. If you want a real adventure with a crew that treats you like mates and shows you the best of the reef without the crowds, I can’t recommend this Oceanomad trip on Coral Sea Dreaming enough. Looking forward to the next one!

4.00Go in good weather. Our crew was great, skipper Shar, dive instructors Chad and Peter. It had been stormy so visibility was only okay, and the sail out and back was pretty rough. Not the fault of the crew or company, but I wish I'd been available at a better time of year. October maybe.

5.00This is the first ever live aboard experience for me and my husband. It is a small boat for a max capacity of 12 guests, facility wise cant compare to those big ships that could have 50+ people on board, but you could get the ultimate level of personal attention and flexibility. Lesser number of passengers means less rush when getting ready for a dive and more flexibility for each dive group. Special call out for Robbe, who really know his job and has taken excellent care of us in all aspects!

5.00I joined the Coral Sea Dreaming overnight trip and it was truly one of the best diving experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for an intimate, relaxed, and genuinely memorable way to explore the Great Barrier Reef, this is the perfect choice. What made it outstanding: • Small group, personal atmosphere The limited number of guests makes the entire experience feel exclusive. No crowds, no rush—just pure enjoyment on the reef. • Incredible dive sites We explored several beautifully locations with corals, countless reef fish, and turtles on nearly every dive. The night dive was absolutely magical. • Outstanding crew Chad, Darrin and Justin were friendly, professional, and very attentive. They struck the perfect balance between safety and enjoyment. • Sleeping under the stars Spending the night on the ocean with a sky full of stars was a highlight all on its own. Peaceful, unique, unforgettable. Overall: A fantastic and authentic way to experience the Great Barrier Reef. I would 100% recommend it to divers and snorkelers looking for something special. After returning to the harbor, I immediately booked another tour on the Coral Sea Dreaming.

5.00Decided to book this tour as a solo female traveler (23)! Couldn’t recommend this trip more! Justin, Chad, and Celine were amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the reef! I did all 5 dives (including a night dive) and had the absolute time of my life!! Do yourself a favor and book!
