Glyfada is our next destination, known for its crystal clear turquoise waters and soft golden sand. It's a great place for swimming, sunbathing and playing with the sand, as well as for water sports.

What To Expect
Paleokastritsa
Corfu is a green island with 217 km of coastline and some of the most beautiful beaches of Greece. With the variety of beaches on the island, sandy, pebble or rocky beaches, we’ve selected the Top Two for your Corfu Beach exploration: Paleokastritsa and Glyfada. Make sure to take your flip-flops and get ready to enjoy half a day on one of the most famous beaches of the island! Once the driver picks you up, we' ll head to Pаlеоkаstritsа - οnе оf thе mοst pоpulаr beaches. The green, rocky hill above the beach reflects in the sea giving a turquoise, green-ish colour in the water. Rocky landscape, dense vegetation, sea caves, thin white sand, crystal clear waters compose an idyllic, breathtaking scenery full of contrasts that awaits you to visit. And if you'd like to explore the caves into the sea, you can optionally make a boat trip to the sea caves. It's fully organised with umbrellas and sun beds, tavernas and various shops.
Glyfada Beach
We' ll continue our beach exploration tour with Glyfada - the most cosmopolitan beach on Corfu with white thin sand and crystal blue water. It's a shallow beach, fully organised with umbrellas and sun beds, beach bars and water sports facilities. The lush green background of pine- and olive-trees above the beach compose a majestic natural scenery. Enjoy here the beautiful beach atmosphere, drinking a fresh juice or cool cocktail. Take a refreshing dip and swim the clear blue waters, or even do water sports. After your relaxing day at the beach, your local driver will get you safely and in time back to your hotel or cruiseship.

3.00Both beaches were nice but they charge 25 euros just to rent a beach chair! Our driver was very nice and even went out of his way to find an open pharmacy on a Sunday as I had a headache. We only wish he would have filled in the time more by talking about the region both past and present.

5.00Corfu was so much more, thanks to our guide. We forgot our wallet, he came back. We loved the Monestry, and not planned to go but our guide thought I might like it. Which was the highlight of my day. We went swimming at the beach, when we were ready our guide was pulling up to check on us. We wanted lunch at a local tavern and off we went! I have not enjoyed any tour like this private tour. Thank you Louie!

5.00Our driver was fantastic! Even though our cruise ship docked later than expected, he was there waiting for us with a sign, ready to go. He was super friendly and really knowledgeable about the area, which made the drive to the beach even better. The Mercedes van was immaculate and the AC was perfect for the hot weather. Seriously, the whole experience was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this service and use them again.

3.00Our driver was very kind, however he did not speak English very well, which made communicating a bit difficult! We used google translate to better communicate, and that worked well. The two beaches we saw were beautiful. The price felt a bit exorbitant for what it was, which was essentially an overpriced uber. Not sure I would recommend this over a big bus tour, for the money! We booked this because we wanted to converse with the driver and learn a bit about the island. When we asked questions, the driver wasn’t able to answer, but it wasn’t his fault! He was accommodating, friendly, and on time! This tour overall felt a bit mis-advertised. Compared to other reviews, we did not get the same experience as other guests.
Two Very Different and Beautiful Beaches in Corfu

5.00We loved going to these two very different beaches in Corfu. While it was not quite warm enough to go swimming yet (We were in Corfu in May), we paid $15E each extra and did the boat ride to the caves at Palaiokastritsa Beach. Highly recommend doing that. The beach itself is very rocky so if you plan on swimming here, bring water shoes. The other beach we went to, Glyfada Beach, is larger and is a sandy beach. It is beautiful as well and the water is crystal clear. We ate at the restaurant there and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Being that the beaches were about a half hour apart and at least a half hour from the cruise port, we got to see alot of the island too.
