Corfu Old Town
Steeped in history and brimming with charm, the Old Town of Corfu is a captivating destination that transports visitors back in time. Nestled on the eastern coast of the verdant island of Corfu, this UNESCO World Heritage site boasts a unique blend of architectural styles, reflecting its rich past and the various cultures that have left their mark on its enchanting streets.
Kontokali
Nestled amidst the lush, sun-drenched hills of Corfu's northeastern coast lies a charming villa that has captured the hearts of television viewers across the globe. Known as the Durrells' House, this delightful abode serves as the primary filming location for the beloved British television series, "The Durrells in Corfu." Based on Gerald Durrell's autobiographical books, the show follows the adventures of the Durrell family as they embark on a new life on the enchanting Greek island in the 1930s. The villa chosen for the series, known locally as "The White House," is a beautiful, two-story building that perfectly encapsulates the spirit and charm of Corfu during that era. Painted in a crisp white hue with contrasting blue shutters and terracotta roof tiles, the house exudes a quintessential Mediterranean ambiance. Surrounded by a lush garden filled with fragrant flowers, olive trees, and vibrant bougainvillea, the property offers a serene oasis that harkens back to a simpler time.

We chose this beautiful boat trip after a lot of thought and online research. We were staying in the northeast of the island, but the starting point of Corfu town suited us and was easily found. The boat is a wooden schooner type with lots of shade and well spaced seating. There was some space for lying out and an onboard toilet. The crew were fantastic and generously encouraging us to use the inclusive buffet of coffee, white wine, soft drinks, ice and nibbles. Heading out we had a bruschetta type snack towards our first swim stop. All of the stops were secluded, with only a few other beach/boat goers. My partner has a slight fear of swimming in open water, so the life jacket was very helpful. Others used pool noodles provided. You can jump from the boat or use the steps. The captain gets the boat close enough to shore to allow easy beach access. Lots of fish to see so bring a mask/snorkel. Lunch was a real coal barbecue that hung out over the sea, from the railings. Kebabs, pitta, greek sausages, tzatsiki and greek salad. They were very careful to enquire about dietary requirements. On the journey back there was a generous platter of melon and soft fruits. The crew were caring and confidence inspiring. The passengers were a range of adults of all ages and nationalities and we made some new acquaintances. The small group size, the boat and the food all made for a very memorable trip with just the touch of luxury we were looking for. All at an affordable price. Highly recommended tour of the tranquil waters of Corfu's north east splendour and amazing views of the mountains of Albania. A lovely day on the water. Highly recommend

Fantastic day trip, with just the right number, and an interesting mix of travellers, on a lovely old lady of the sea. All of the hosts were marvellous, and the food was absolutely excellent. Would highly recommend. Have worked in the leisure marine industry for many years, and fully appreciate that things just happen. But the trip was postponed at very short notice, and I mean literally the night before. Fortunately we still had some holiday left, and so we were able to move it. All of a bit of a pain to try and re-organise our transfer to the boat, which fortunately we were able to do without any additional cost. Nevertheless 5 stars...

A perfectly timed and catered boat trip to the northeast coast of Corfu. Three, perfectly enjoyable stops at select bays, good food, and a cheerful crew along the way. Highly recommended.

This is not one of those overcrowded booze cruises! A small group of people were more alcohol-oriented than others, but there was space for everyone and everybody had a good time. We had a classy and cozy day on sea, with swimming, sun and great views of places that are less-visited by the usual tourist groups. The cook grilled us an excellent fresh lunch and there were also light snacks, all made of local ingredients. The historical boat was lovely and very well-maintained, the toilets were clean, and there was enough shade for those who didn’t want to be in the sun. The whole crew is very good, fun but professional, and everything was very well organized. Definitely worth the money. My elderly mother keeps praising the trip and demands that we go again next year. You can find the boat by the pirate boat in the old harbour. Sunshine out on the sea is strong so definitely bring sunglasses, sunscreen, flip-flops, a hat that stays on even when it’s a bit windy, and some light clothes to cover those bits of you that are more prone to sunburn. In the afternoon we were all quite red. If you have swimming shoes, take those as well. During the long stop you can swim to the beach but there are some sea urchins.

We had a fantastic time on this classic wooden vessel tour. The boat itself is beautiful, clean, and offers a wonderful, intimate charm compared to the massive commercial tour boats. The coastline and swim stops are absolutely breathtaking, featuring clear turquoise water that is perfect for snorkeling. The onboard food was also a massive hit; the traditional Greek BBQ lunch featured delicious skewers, grilled sausage, warm pita bread, and fresh tzatziki, and the atmosphere on deck was incredibly relaxing for the majority of the day. The only downside to our trip came during the final stretch. As the afternoon wind picked up, the ride became quite choppy on the way back. The vessel caught quite a bit of sea spray as we powered through the waves and was quite uncomfortable if you were sat on the front deck, I would still highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Corfu!

If you are looking for a boat cruise around Corfu for a day that is not a cookie cutter, 200+ people with pre-packaged food, expensive drinks and doof doof, you have found the right one! The boat is pristine and there is plenty of different seating options (shade/sun) for everyone. (Max 24) The crew of 5 are genuine and welcoming and bend over backwards to ensure you are happy from the moment they great you with cold water. The Captain even took the time to remove some sea urchin spikes from my toe! They have a Chef on board that cooks bruschetta for a snack and then a delicious Greek BBQ lunch and a stunning fruit platter. The wine (& soft drinks) are free flowing. Dietary requests are covered. You can jump off the boat into beautiful clear water with free snorkelling equipment and noodles on 3 stops. It’s only 6 hours duration so you aren’t knackered at the end. The guests were from all different countries (solo, couples, friends). Everyone commented how they were glad they paid a bit more to find such a fabulous trip in preference to the bigger commercial experiences. This was the highlight of my trip!

My husband and I absolutely loved this experience. We live in the states and do not have gorgeous water or landscape like this. The trip is well worth it. The crew is experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly. All of them went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The boat itself is beautiful and everything on board is well cared for and spotless; even the bathrooms. Our lunch was delicious and the white wine never stopped flowing. One of the best tours we have ever done. I definitely recommend this excursion!
