One of Europe’s most impressive Gothic fortresses, this legendary stronghold was once the seat of the powerful Hunyadi family. Explore its grand halls and towering battlements while hearing fascinating tales of John Hunyadi and Matthias Corvinus. After a day of discovery, relax on the return drive to Cluj, arriving in the evening.

5.00Our guide was well-informed, friendly and helpful. We were collected on time and the trip went smoothly and to plan. it was a long day with a fair amount of time spent in the car between the two sites that we visited, but it was well worth the effort.
