Brilliant trip and must see if visiting Ecuador! We were very lucky with the weather, about an hours hike up to base camp with amazing views from the top. We had Pamela as our guide and she was incredible. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and could answer any question! Made the trip for us.

Our guide, Irene, had a wonderful energy and did her utmost to ensure that we had a wonderful day. Irene was patient, encouraging and enthusiastic throughout the day. Despite less than perfect weather, the Cotopaxi national park was a beautiful experience.

Our day trip to Cotopaxi was an absolutely incredible experience! Even though the altitude made it challenging at times, it was worth every single breath. The views were breathtaking, and the sense of accomplishment was unforgettable. A special mention to our guide, Irene, who was exceptionally great. She knew so much about the culture and the nature of her country, which made the experience even richer and more meaningful. On top of that, she was funny and kept the mood light throughout the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Book with her!!! - Audrey et Alexandre

Irene was great. Tour went very smoothly. The Cotopaxi national park road is quite bad, due to a lack of investment from the government despite heavy tourism in the area, but Irene and Andres did well despite. Highly recommend!

Irene our tour guide set the tone in making visiting the Cotopaxi a surreal experience. It was more that what we expected! It was magical seeing this incredible volcano close up. The ascension to get to the Refuge was very challenging and something to tell your friends and family! Thank you Irene for being so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and an awesome tour guide. We were so fortunate to have you on our second tour!!

The ride to Cotopaxi was very good! The guide guided and accompanied us all the time. It is important to carry cold clothes, as they sell a lot.

Great trip and good value. Actual hike to the base station was shorter than I expected, but you also have a little time to explore beyond that point on your own while others rest and grab snacks. Overall, definitely a worthwhile trip while visiting Quito.

Incredible full-day experience with breathtaking views, well-organized itinerary, and a passionate guide. The hike up the volcano was challenging but unforgettable, and the natural beauty of Cotopaxi National Park was worth every minute. Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers!

This is a must do while you are in Quito! We had a great experience from before the tour, Grace answering all our questions and requests, and on the tour Ernesto was the best possible guide and driver (the roads around Cotopaxi Nat’l Park are…rough), making our day fantastic! We were lucky to have great weather, and Ernesto navigated the holiday traffic very well, organizing our day to keep us away from the biggest crowds (thank you!).

This was the only day in Ecuador I really hated. The weather walking up was terrible - icy cold rain so we hit soaked. The visibility was poor at the top so not worth the effort or the 11 hours we could have done something in Quito. The bus driver around for 45 minutes picking up other guests. The guide spoke incessantly and very loudly but imparted little information about the volcano itself. I think there should be a warning about how cold it is likely to be (fortunately we were prepared - I wore four layers and gloves) and the difficulty of climbing for over an hour at this high altitude.
