Our studio is located in a typical and narrow street of morro da Sé Cathedral, in a walking distance you will find Sé Cathedral, Ribeira, D. Luis I Bridge, Guindais, São Bento Station, and the neighbourhood of Sé itself it's a typical and magical place full of inspiring spots.

What To Expect
I'm a local Fine Artist Painter, lived & studied Arts for all my life abroad and at my home town Porto, a few years ago along with my wife Silvia decided to open our Studio Gallery in the most inspiring neighbourhood of Porto. The neighbourhood of Sé Cathedral right at the historical centre, close to Ribeira, D. Luis Bridge, Clerigos Tower it's in a narrow and typical street off the beaten path where I have everything I need to do my Art and host you in a Unique Painting Class...

5.00A very beautiful moment shared with my mother during an aquarel class. Hugo is an excellent pedagogue: explains with clarity, devotes time to each step and allows even beginners to leave with a very beautiful painting. The studio is very pleasant, we feel welcomed, as in a real space of artist. All the material is made available — just come, listen and put into practice. My mom and I loved it. Thank you, Hugo. I highly recommend this experience.

5.00I found this gem of a shop online, it was the 1st art gallery on my list and I was so fortunate to find the exact water color that I had in my mind’s eye! Gorgeous painting of the Dom Luis bridge with such detail & the size I wanted - quite a large square! Hugo was so kind, he came to our place to hang the painting for us. Each time I open my front door, it puts a smile on my face, I simply love it and I look forward to finding additional paintings from this very talented artist!

5.00What an amazing experience. 3 of us were NOT experienced artist of any kind. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hugo was super friendly and helpful the entire time. Quaint location and clean studio and work area. It is absolutely worth the time and price. It will be 1 of many experiences. But we will talk about this more. Just do it, it was great!

5.00The host was incredible, so friendly and helpful. We had a small workshop group of 4 including Hugo. He assisted us when needed but didn’t loom over our shoulder. He was professional and courteous. The workshop was fun, enjoyable and it felt like a privilege being in his workshop he truly is a master of his craft and I can’t recommend him or this experience enough I certainly feel like it’s worth your time if you want an unforgettable experience.
