What To Expect
Cricova represents a unique underground city well-known all over the world by its huge labyrinths, & especially by its excellent wines. Cellars of Cricova are the house of a remarkable collection of wines — The National Oenotec. Guests will be taken into the Cricova wine tunnels by small electric trains. Milestii Mici Winery- are the largest underground cave network with the biggest collection of wine in the world. These are situated at a depth of about 85m under the ground. This has been officially documented by the Guinness Book of World Records! Visitors have the unique opportunity to walk along the cool, dark galleries & avenues where big barrels are placed. The wine bottles, covered with noble dust are expecting for the day to be enjoyed. So let's go!

4.00Both wineries are definitely worth a visit. Milestii Mici makes a rather rustic and a bit of an unkempt impression. There you can walk through the aisles and see many cazas with wine bottles. For the wine tasting there were white, red and sweet wine with local appetizers. Live music violin and accordion. The room was nicely decorated. Cricova makes a much more groomed and professional impression. There you could see parts of the production shaking bottles by hand, there was a short film to watch in the underground cinema with a glass of fermented grape juice. The wine tasting included white wine, rosé, red wine and a sparkling wine with dry nibbles, including water. There are several tasting rooms in different styles, a chapel and a small museum. The wines at both wineries are of good quality and are good to drink. It's a shame they're rather unknown in western climes. If you only have time for a tour, I think you should choose Cricova.

5.00This was my second tour with the Hi Moldova. The tour guide (Mtvarisa) was really nice and caring. Next to bringing me to the winery's she also made the trip fun. This tour made me definitely want to come back to Moldova.

5.00The tour was carried out by HIMOLDOVA-lucky, because the boss drove herself and it was a lot of fun to get introduced to Moldova by her. Both wineries are interesting in their own way and I don’t know which one to choose if I had to choose between them. The tours, the tasting, the quality of the wines and also the snacks were just good. And then again our guide Mtvarisa-a successful day

5.00Good conversation with driver. Good wine. And good food to go with that. (Bit stingy with the food at Cricova, though. Asked for a little more, but was told that'd cost me $$$$$$$$$. So didn't bother.) Well organized. Good way to spend an otherwise probably boring Saturday. (Eat well at Milestii or take snack with you. Good wine but little affordable food at Cricova.)

5.00Awesome way to see two of the best wineries in moldova! SO much wine. Milestii mici also gives you a decent food pairing so you don’t have to worry about breakfast. Friendly and professional driver, overall well organized and enjoyable.

5.00We had a fantastic private tour of Cricova and Milestii Mici Wineries. Both wineries are not to miss if you are visiting Chisinau. Our guide, Victor, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. You get to see a lot in a relatively short period of time. You don't have as much time at Milestii Mici to try the wines versus at Cricova, so I would recommend getting a glass of wine and sitting outside before the tour begins. All in all it was a wonderful experience and

5.00My husband and I booked a private tour to Cricova and Milestii Mici Wineries. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. It was an amazing trip into the underground wineries, of which were unlike anything we'd seen before. We had a very detailed and informative overview of Moldova, wine, and history. Victor was an amazing guide! I would absolutely recommend booking the tour.
