This food tour was amazing. Our guide Shari was the best. She was friendly, knowledgeable and fun and made the tour worth the trip. We learned about the history of Barbados and enjoyed some yummy Bajan dishes. This is well worth your time.

My wife and I did the Around de Town tour with Shari, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the start, she didn’t feel like just a guide — she felt like someone we’d known for years. We’ve been to Barbados many times before, but Shari really went out of her way to make this experience feel fresh and tailored to us. She picked up on that right away and personalized the day in a way that made us have a lot of fun with her and the experience. Her knowledge of the history and culture is incredible, but what stood out most was how naturally she shared it — nothing felt scripted. It was just easy conversation as we explored. She also took us to a few spots we might not have found on our own, and the Bajan food along the way was absolutely fantastic. Especially the authentic Bajan fish cakes in Bridgetown and the chicken quesadilla (Bajan style) at the Park Cafe. We happened to be the only ones on the tour that day, which made it feel even more special, but honestly, even in a group setting, I think Shari would make everyone feel just as taken care of. If you’re even thinking about booking this tour, do it. You get appetizers, meals, and dessert - we were stuffed! It’s the kind of experience that sticks with you long after the trip is over. Shari made it a true Bajan experience!

Searnia took very good care of us. She drove us to four different towns (Holetown, Bridgetown, Speightstown, Oistins). We tasted chicken quesadillas, fried flying fish, visited a bakery, and had ice cream. She was always mindful of my dairy intolerance. She gave us lots of information about the history and the sites along the way. Would definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic way to tour the western part of the island. We went to places we would not have found on our own, sampled some great local food and beverages in restaurants and from street vendors. Our guide, Siarnia, was fun, and proud of her country. We made multiple stops while touring in a comfortable vehicle, and had running commentary on historical and cultural sites, and Bajan life. Highly recommended.

Round de Town tour was a great authentic experience. While the food was excellent, our guide Shari was the crown jewel. Her knowledge of the island added value you could not put a price on. We were fortunate to have a “private” tour as we booked as the season was winding down, and due to a last minute cancellation by the other attendees, we had the personal experience. Shari was kind enough to make sure all of our experiences were captured with photos along the way. If you are looking for a good start to your vacation this is a great entry point as it gives you a solid foundation of the island and what it has to offer. Our only regret was not booking earlier on our trip. Great offer LickRish and thank you so much Shari for your time and commitment to an excellent experience.

Wonderful food tour! Searnia was such a joy to have as a guide. She was very knowledgeable, witty and fun to spend the tour with. The food and places were great and the drive to each area was short, especially with all the extra info provided. Definitely recommend this tour!

Overall this tour (2026-02-19) was satisfactory but could use improvements. My spouse was disappointed that we did not stay longer at each stop to get the flavour of the community we were in. She felt rushed. Of the four stops on this tour, only the first and last were worthwhile. Our first stop (The Park Café) in Peronne Village, St. Lawrence, Christ Church, offered a delicious quesadilla in a beautiful park setting. But as I stated above, the tour deteriorated after that. The second stop, Oistins, (Christ Church) was a huge disappointment. A full boxed meal was provided, but due to time constraints, I did not have time to finish my meal. A sampler pack would have been a better offering. The third stop, and biggest disappointment, was the bakery in Speightstown. We would have preferred a Cafe or seaside restaurant to savour the view of the ocean in this location. The baked goods offered weren’t that fresh or special. The final stop, an ice cream shop (Ice Lab), located in a high-end shopping mall in Holetown, was also very good. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we did not have time to wander or shop around the mall. Additionally, our transportation was crowded and uncomfortable for some of the other guests. One lady actually sat on the wheel hump and then behind me on a cooler for more space. This definitely was not a leisurely tour. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic time on the Round de Towns food tour with Lickrish Food Tours. Our guide Shari was wonderful — incredibly passionate about Barbados and eager to share the island with us. She took us to several of her favorite local spots, which made the experience feel authentic and personal. The tour travels across four different towns, so it’s a great way to see more of Barbados while sampling local food along the way. Shari also shared lots of interesting stories about the island, and as a fun bonus she even showed us Rihanna’s childhood home. Overall it was a great mix of food, culture, and sightseeing. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Barbados!
