Superb! We had the best time on our foodie tour! Our tour guide, Augustine, was knowledgeable, charming and funny. He took such good care of us, feeding us the most amazing, delicious array of foods, and adjusting the tour to accommodate our interests. He shared his own experiences with us and brought Singapore to life for us. He was an excellent photographer too, and helped us to capture our trip. Would most definitely recommend!

Tasted various items at a hawker location, received good historic and cultural information, toured places in Chinatown district and went to a rooftop walkway with fabulous views

HJ was a wonderful guide. He took me and my partner I around the hawker markets in Chinatown and introduced us to all the norms of the hawker food market culture. I’m vegetarian and he found vegetarianised versions of the most famous dishes for me. He sent us pictures afterwards with the names of all the foods we tried. When we were full he took us to a museum and taught us about the history of Singapore. He walked us back to our hotel, very full, with a long list of recommendations and knowing a lot more about Singapore. I would highly recommend this experience - particularly at the start of your trip! It made us a lot more confident navigating the markets.

We booked through Viator, and we were well in advance at the meeting point. After 20 minutes there still wasn't anybody. We contacted the service provider which at first didn't reply. We then contacted Viator who pinged the service provider which eventually replied that 'they hadn't been notified of our booking by Viator.' Strange - since they took our money (and refunded us, granted) but Viator are adamant they notified them. I have a sneaky feeling we were the only ones booked that night and they didn't want to bother. Looking now at the reviews it feels like a dodgy company - some reviews mention a 'bike tour', others a 'crazy rich asians' tour... for what is supposed to be a culinary experience. Buyers beware... You've been warned.

My tour guide HJ was great. Coming from the United States with 12 hours in Chinatown, Singapore and I was looking to learn more about 潮州, he was the right person for me. He was prompt and efficient with my time. The food, views and content of the tour made this experience 5 ⭐️. Lastly, I had trouble with my GRAB app and he was kind enough to talk to a nearby tax driver for me to let him know that I was going to the airport. I will be back again 🙏🏼

What a fantastic way to explore the local Singapore food & culture! Fred was full of interesting information about how all the different cultures have influenced Singaporean food over time. Loved tasting all his favourite foods, and learning about how they are made, at local eateries along the way. Must-do tour when in Singapore!

Our guide Fred was very knowledgeable about authentic Singapore food. We love that we experienced the food at restaurants and stalls that the locals visit. The food was amazing as was Fred’s knowledge of the local area , the history of Singapore and its traditional food. Highly recommend!!

Guide was assigned last minute but he dressed unprofessionally, and spoke in very broken English. He did not present information well. I felt it was a Waste of time.

Ray is a great guy who has lots of cool info on Singapore. We really enjoyed his knowledge of Singapore. But the "food" part of the tour wasn't a food tour. He took us to one place, plopped us down, and started bringing plates and bowls of food. That isn't what food tour people want. We wanted to go to a variety of places, have some nibbles and continue on to the next place, all the while learning about the dish, what's in it, and why we are eating it -maybe something special about the chef/cook. We went to one place, ate a ton of food andthat was it - for the food. He did take us to a very cool Hindu temple and gave us info about Chinatown as we walked around. But for what we paid and what we got in terms of food -the tour was disappointing.
