All you need for this tasty food excursion is a healthy appetite!
You will not only taste the most delicious local bites and drinks, but you will also experience the island through the eyes of a local.
During this 4-hour food excursion, you will drive around in an air-conditioned vehicle, sightsee, and walk through the city center with your local private guide to visit neighborhood venues and savor a range of gastronomic specialties. You'll feast on the most delicious local snacks and dishes, from a "pastechi", to a "sate batata", to a refreshing "Batido", to a hearty local meal at Plasa Bieu. We will also make a stop at the Curacao Distillery to learn about the world-famous Blue Curacao Liquor. This excursion will be a delight for your taste buds!

Rif Fort
Learn about the history of Rif Fort, Punda, and our port Sint Anna Bay. From the second floor of Rif Fort Village, you will have the opportunity to take pictures with our colorful Punda as your background.
Brionplein
The food tour will start with a refreshing "Batido" (local fruit smoothie) of your choice. You will also learn about the history of Pedro Luis Brion and be able to have a better look at our Queen Emma Bridge (Swinging Old Lady).

From the moment Bart picked us up, we knew we were in for a treat. He isn't just a guide; he is a proud local with a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humor. It felt less like a formal tour and more like an old friend showing us around his hometown. The food was incredible—come hungry! Bart took us to authentic local spots that we never would have found on our own. We tried everything from delicious pastechi and sate batata (so good!) to a refreshing batido and a hearty, authentic lunch at Plasa Bieu that was to die for. What made this tour truly "amazing," though, was the context Bart provided. He didn't just hand us food; he wove in the history, culture, and stories of the island with every bite. 5.00I went with my husband and 1 year old son! I really loved the experience with Bart! He showed us all of his local spots, and every meal was a HIT! Even my 16 month old loved all of the food! We also learned so much history about Curacao! We will be back to visit Bart!

5.00We arrived for our tour and were informed the air conditioning was acting up in the van and might not be operational. The day was very hot so Bart gave us the option to cancel with a full refund. We did cancel and then Bart personally found us a taxi driver to give us an air conditioned tour of Curacao. You can tell a lot about a person by how they handle a problem. We won't hesitate to try this tour next time we are in Curacao.
