Thushan was recommended to us by a friend. I contacted him through whatsapp and easily organized the itinerary. We were picked up by Thushan directly from the airport at the start of our trip. He was acting as our guide while he had another drive, Hansa, driving us. It was smooth driving experience as we drove through southern part of Sri Lanka. They were both excellent drivers and very friendly people. It was close $130 cad per day for van, and our trip was around 7 nights.

We had an excellent experience with Thushan. Communication was clear and prompt from the very beginning, and throughout the trip he was consistently kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. He made us feel comfortable and well looked after at all times, sharing local knowledge and ensuring every part of the journey ran smoothly. When bad weather affected parts of the island, he went above and beyond to help us replan our route, offering thoughtful alternatives and being very flexible to suit our preferences. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his calm, accommodating nature made a huge difference to our trip. A genuinely lovely person and a fantastic guide - we would highly recommend him to anyone traveling in Sri Lanka.

The 9 days tour gave us the full Sri Lankan experience. We saw everything from mountains to beaches, ruins to rainforests. The drive across the island was scenic, and each stop offered something new. Lanka Travel Diaries made sure the schedule flowed smoothly. Thushan was always kind, funny, and knowledgeable. He introduced us to local snacks and viewpoints we would have missed otherwise. Highlights included the train ride to Ella, the safari in Yala, and the beach in Tangalle. He was always quickly respond us. He is excellent driver. I joined a 9-day cultural immersion tour in Sri Lanka with Lanka Travel Diaries, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve taken. With the extra days, the itinerary felt nicely spaced out. I never felt rushed, and there was enough time to really take in places like Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, and the smaller stops in between. Our driver Thushan shared a lot of interesting stories and background details that added meaning to each site. I also appreciated the balance between organized activities and free time, which gave me space to explore on my own when I wanted to. Another highlight was meeting local artisans in small craft shops and seeing their work up close. We are very happy for choose this company & our driver Thushan. I definitely recommend. I suggest everyone for choose this company.

Our trip along Sri Lanka’s southern coast was absolutely beautiful. We booked Thushan for our 5 days. We explored Galle Fort, relaxed on Mirissa Beach, and took a boat ride to see dolphins. The coastline is stunning clear waters, soft sand, and friendly locals everywhere. The seafood restaurants by the beach were fantastic. Even though it was a short trip, it felt full and satisfying. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Sri Lanka’s southern region has so much charm, and this tour captured it perfectly. I’ll definitely return to explore more next time. We had great time with him. He manage & arrange everything. We have nothing to do. Highly recommended.....!!!
