What To Expect
Duration: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM Activity Type: Guided nature hike, eco-tour, outdoor adventure Itinerary: 07:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Windhoek 07:30 AM- Arrive at the starting point in the Viljoen area. The guide will conduct a short safety briefing and introduce the trail, setting the tone for your adventure. 7:45 AM – Begin Guided Sunrise Hike Start your scenic 3-kilometer hike through peaceful, early-morning landscapes. Learn about the unique flora, geology, and possible wildlife of the region as you explore off-the-beaten-path trails with panoramic views. 9:00 AM – Refreshment Break Pause mid-hike to enjoy light refreshments in a serene natural setting. Take time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with fellow hikers. 09:45 AM – Continue the Trail Resume the final leg of the hike, taking in new vistas and perhaps spotting more local wildlife as the landscape shifts with the rising sun. 10:45 AM – Hike Ends Conclude the hike back at the starting point. The guide will be happy to recommend nearby cafés for a delicious local breakfast (optional and at own cost). After the breakfast, we will return you to your hotel in windhoek.

1.00We were there to take a hike. Arrived after an hour's drive. We could do the hike of 3 km, the other would not go in t time frame because we were not allowed to do this alone. I asked for the wifi but they were only for guests (she too, just paid for a hike- 250 rand) asked if we could maybe have lunch after the hike- no also that was only for the guests. Then we started the hike, there was really 1 sign, at the beginning and then nothing.. the grass high, no paths. After walking several options and not finding a sign anywhere, we decided to go back after about 10 min. and asked for our money back. They looked at us like we were crazy. The three of us were behind the counter. Were really terribly arrogant. Hospitality 0.0 .

1.00I received no communication that I was the only person who signed up. Nor was I told if I was the only person, that there would be no guide. I get to the park and my driver is confused about the setup, the park ranger has no idea about any guided hiking I show up and there’s no guide, no explanation, just told I can buy my pass as the visitor desk and go on the hike alone. And now I’m being told there’s no refund even though the only thing I received from the description was my hotel pickup
