Discover the picturesque scenery, sands, mud baths and ancient ruins of the beautiful Dalyan River on this day trip from Fethiye. Travel to the pretty town of Dalyan, board a riverboat, and spend the day cruising through a nature reserve of untouched reed beds and fields. Swim, sunbathe and watch for rare loggerhead turtles on protected İztuzu Beach, admire the cliff-cut ancient Kings’ Tombs of Kaunos, and wallow in the famous riverside mud baths and warm thermal pools. What To Expect
Fethiye
We pick you up from your hotel between 08:00-09:00 in the morning and our tour begins. Our Dalyan Tour starts with a half-hour bus ride after we pick you up from your accommodation in Fethiye. You can also see Sülüngür Lake on the Dalyan road with a breathtaking view, passing through forests full of pine and sweetgum trees.
Sultaniye Thermals and Mud Baths
We get on our boats in Dalyan and go to our first stop, the junction point of Dalyan and Köyceğiz Lake, and pause here for 10 minutes to be informed about the interesting history of Köyceğiz Lake. Then, with a short boat ride, we go to Sultaniye Mud Bath right on the shore of the lake. Sultaniye Thermal Spring / Mud Bath, which has been the oldest and most active bath in the region for thousands of years since the Lycian period, is described as the best among the mud baths in the region. There are several hot water pools here that smell strongly of sulfur, and these pools have many healing properties. When you enter these pools, you will feel like you are reborn, your skin will feel younger and smoother, and you will feel more relaxed and healthy as toxins are removed from your body.

5.00It was a fabulous day! Even though it was an overcast, rainy day it was fabulous! Cruising down the river with all the history from our fabulous guide Sev! She is knowledgeable, extremely excited about her job and loving! The ruins were magnificent

5.00We had a great day. Pickup and drop off from our hotel went smoothly. Dalyan is a beautiful area. The boat moves slowly through the water so there is plenty of opportunity for photos. The mud baths and hot springs was fun. The rock tombs beautiful and Iztuzu Beach was good for a swim or just lying on the beach. We even saw some large turtles, although the water wasn't clear enough to see them well. Overall we loved our day.

5.00A great family trip. Lovely to get out of the hotel and experience some of Turkey. Seeing different views and being led by a wonderful guide. We were taken to the Dalyan river where we boarded a boat and cruised to the mud and thermal spring experience. Funny and definitely an experience. The kids mostly enjoyed diving from the jetty into the river. A great lunch, huge portions and then back onto the boat for the rock tombs. Some great history provided by our guide. Onto the Turtles and wow, they were amazing. We bought the blue crab, had a nibble ourselves and then we all enjoyed throwing the remains for the fish. We finished refreshing ourselves in the sea and with an ice cream before boarding the boat and being driven back to our hotel. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend this company.

5.00What a great day out!! Fun packed and relaxing all at once!! Our guide Sev was fabulous. So warm and friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this trip. Also I did look 10 years younger after going in the mud Bath so I will be back!!

5.00This excursion is nothing short of fantastic! My husband and our two teenagers all had an amazing day on this trip. The tour guide ‘Jesus’ was very knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We learned so much about the areas we visited and Turkey in general. The boat ride provides beautiful views and the mud baths are so much fun. I loved the thermal bath, it was so lovely and relaxing after the cold shower to get the mud off. I was worried it would be packed but it wasn’t at all. The highlight for me was seeing the turtles. I can’t tell you how many trips I’ve been on where they’ve promised I’ll see a turtle and then we didn’t. No issues this time! The turtle was about 2m away from me. Breathtaking. The food was good, not great but very adequate. The photographer is also very good, not intrusive and the photos are really lovely. There is an opportunity to buy crab to eat and feed the shells to the turtles. We don’t eat crab for religious reasons but I regretted not getting one because you are much more likely to see the turtles if you chuck the crab shells into the water. Overall this is great value for money and highly recommended.

5.00It is quite a long day but we'll worth it. Our tour guide was excellent. She was so friendly and helpful and very informative. The scenery was spectacular, and the mud bath was so much fun. Even the food at lunch was quite a good standard. We spent an hour and a half on Turtle beach wich was a nice break from the travelling and saw quite a few turtles which was great. We couldn't fault this day trip. We will always be a happy memory for us. Thanks to the tour guide and everyone else for a great dayout. Dave and Jenny from Plymouth UK

5.00This was a great day, the mud bath and hot springs were so revitalising, seeing the tombs was amazing and Turtle bay has to be one of the best beaches in the area. Our guide was so much fun and informative. It's a full day out but well worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful day.
