We were picked up on time by Rob and Katie from the cruise port. This tour was high class at a very sensible price. Rob the driver and main guide was full of interesting facts and stories. The stops were well selected, and we certainly had our say in where we went. There was one other couple enjoying the tour with us, both of us from our cruise ship, in a vehicle with plenty of space. The stop for lunch, for a small additional cost for food, was perfect for us. The main highlight was the museum which is not normally on our radar, but this one was special and well worth the visit. I learned a great deal about cyclone Tracy. Some excellent viewing spots and a paddle in the sea, for my partner, don't ask!! If you are considering this tour, I suggest you go ahead, I would definitely recommend it to my best friends, and you. Enjoy. Thanks Rob, you were nearly as magic as me!!!

An extremely informative and enjoyable day with guides Rob and Kate who gave us a real insight into life in Darwin including some of their own personal experiences. We visited the Charles Darwin National Park, the Northern Territories museum and various other local sites. The highlight has to be, being persuaded by Rob to lick the tail (word used advisedly) of a live green ant to get a vitamin C rush. Seriously it was an experience not to be missed and I I think the ant may have enjoyed it as well. Having said that, the coffee stop we had with the home made (by Rob’s wife, Tracy) mango muffin was a delight.
