Experience Petra day tour from the Dead Sea. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Amman he will be waiting in the lobby. Then start your journey towards the Red Rose City of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan.

Anas was a great driver. Texted via whatsapp a day before to confirm the time and hotel for pickup. Arrived in time and was flexible moving schedule due to last minute chores on my end. I only signed up for Petra but was able to add Wadi Rum and jeep tour on the way. Also was ready to give written heads up on preparing for the day ahead in terms of clothing, footwear, sunscreen etc. We first started with a conversation about a brief history of Jordan with the car AC on chill while it was 45 outside and stocked up on water along with wi-fi . Anas was knowledgeable about our route and Jordan in general along with its neighbors. Dropped my by Petra per our scheduled time and set me up with a government guide. Also gave me tips for the ways within Petra (Say no to hawkers, etc). I already had a heavy meal so decided to not stop at all on the way to Wadi Rum, he already had has meal and was ready to hit the road. We then headed to Wadi rum where he accompanied me in the Jeep tour. He turned out to be a great photographer and was also knowledgeable about the spots around. Had a good time with Anas and will recommend for a smooth stay in Jordan.

What an amazing spectical. Wish we had more time as 4 hours was the bare minimum. Had a donkey ride, what amazing animals they are. It's a must do.

First of all, I was very lucky to have been assigned Mr. Raed Owaida as my trip driver. He is very knowledgeable, informative, and welcoming (shout out to you Uncle Raed and thank you very much!) As for Petra, I don't think this experience can ever be described in words. There is so much to see, learn, explore, and observe to the point where 2-3 hours of walking will pass by without noticing. An astonishingly beautiful place with a rich history. Tips: Wear comfortable/sports clothes, walking/running shoes, and a backpack for water bottles and snacks. Make sure to start your trip as early as possible in the morning (6 am, 7 am, or 8 am max) so that you have time to go through all locations within Petra without any rush. Lastly, don't end your trip at Qasr Al-Bint, I recommend continuing until you reach The Monastery (Ad-Dier). However, you need to know that you will be climbing 850 steps to reach The Monastery so be careful if you have any health issues. Yes, it is exhausting, but definitely worth it. I enjoyed every bit of this trip and would HIGHLY recommend it.

Khalil abusway was our driver and he was absolutely amazing. Safe driver very considerate and accommodating . We only stayed in Jordan 2 days but used him the entire time even to the airport.
