Abu Simbel temples are amazing - however we were really disappointed with the tour: 1. pickup was un-organized - we were told to meet at 4:00 am, but we had to wait for 1.5 hours (along with other people in the van) before we could leave for Abu Simbel at ~5:30 am (apparently there were some mis-communications with other pickups). 2. no restroom along the way - the driver told us there would be a stop about an hour after departure; However this was not true - we had to pull over along the 'highway' and find a place behind a pile of dirt. 3. No sufficient explanation - the guide showed us some photos about the construction and the paintings, and that was all the 'guided tour'. After that, we were given one hour to walk around the temples on our own. Overall, the tour was really poorly organized and even chaotic - we would recommend going with a private tour instead.

Everything went pretty well, the drivers drove very safe. Just one problem, we were told the wrong pick up time (they wanted to pick us up at 04:30, but then at 03:50 they called me telling that the time is 03:30), so that it came to the delay of the whole group.
