Start your day tour in Aswan and drive to the High Dam of Aswan, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. From the top of the High Dam you can gaze across Lake Nasser to the Kalabsha temple in the south and the huge power station to the north.
Temple of Philae
The last of the 3 famous Aswan sites you will see is generally regarded as the best. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island, where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site.

Good and kind staff. Our bed broke and they called someone in and fixed within 15mins. Tours are a bit intense but it covers most popular spots. Value is ok without considering a compulsory tip of 10USD per person per day. Mina as a tour guide is professional and easygoing, with some good advice

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Khaled Egypt. From start to finish, everything was well organised and stress-free. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egyptian history, which made every site come alive. They were patient, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. We never felt rushed and the itinerary was perfectly paced. I highly recommend Kaled to guide to anyone visiting Egypt — truly unforgettable!

The guide Mina was very knowledgeable with very good command of English. He is also very kind and friendly. We visited a spices and perfume shop which was not in the initial planning which is great. The staff on the boat was very kind. They were a lot of choices for the food however it was lacking salt and pepper and spices overall. For a country known by their spices i was expecting food to be less plain but otherwise the food choice combination was good. The breakfast to take away was quite poor and could be improved by adding boiled eggs and yoghurt. To visit Abu simbel we had another guide who was not good and his English was very poor. The facility of the boat is overall old but fairly well maintained. The room was clean and the mattress comfortable.

My name is Carlos. We had the pleasure to have King Mina as our tour guide. He literally thought about everything. He was very knowledgeable about the ancient history. He also showed us some artisans for spices; essences and stone carving. Thank you Mina for the amazing experience!
