What To Expect
Valley of the Kings
Our Egyptologist will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to begin your exploration of the West Bank. Start your day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, known for its grand burial architecture and the many kings buried there. You will visit three tombs, excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Next, enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490 to 1469 B.C.), the only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. Afterward, Then you will proceed to have lunch at a local restaurant then back to your hotel in Luxor

Valley of Kings - very steep, but a little uniform

5.00The tombs of kings are a unique place. There is virtually nothing like it in the world, because the style of the ancient Egyptians is completely distinct. I would boldly recommend a visit to the Valley of the Kings to everyone, however I would advise against paying for extra tombs. Most of the tombs are very similar to each other and not very different. Tutankhamun's tomb is quite small and quite unremarkable because Pharaoh left this world very young.

5.00We had an amazing day tour . Everything was very well organized and the sites were absolutely incredible. Our guide Mohamed was fantastic – very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history in a very clear and interesting way. He made the whole experience enjoyable and took great care of us throughout the day. The visit to the Valley of the Kings was unforgettable, and Hatshepsut Temple was truly stunning.
