Bison reserve was lovely with reindeer and baby goats as well. We then visited an unusual waterfall before having the most filling locally cooked meal. Only issue was that my friend was not up to the walk to the waterfall. Our guide Irina was very friendly.

I offered this family trip to my parents and was a very surprising pleasant discovery! Irina, our guide, organised for us the trip in Vama Buzaului at the Bison reserve, roaring waterfall and traditional Romanian lunch! Everything professional …from the walk adapted to our rhythm, good explanations about the forest, bears and local traditions and exceptional food and drinks… we finished the trip with a potatoes bread from Prejmer! An experience that I will remember for sure! Recommend!

the drive to the Buffalo Reserve is beautiful it snowed the day we went and there was amazing scenery all along our guild Robert made the whole trip he was so enthusiastic and wanted to make sure we enjoyed every minuet we had a wonderful time. The reserve isn't huge so don't expect to much i loved it as we hadn't seen the beautiful beasts before. We loved the views at the waterfall and there was a lovely lady to fill our bellies at the end of all our adventuring.
An incredible experience, by far the most enjoyable day of my holiday!

Highly recommended, Robert is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and experience. The day included a trip to the buffalo reserve, a guide of the authentic Romanian cuisine and a visit to the roaring waterfall. The tour was very well paced and suited to all fitness levels and accommodated my every need. The hospitality was unrivalled, absolute perfection, what else can I say Thanks Robert! Alexandra & Reeve
