We had an excellent experience on the Slănic Salt Mine day trip from Bucharest. Everything was very well organised from start to finish, making it a relaxed and enjoyable day. The salt mine itself is absolutely impressive — massive, unique, and unlike anything we’ve seen before. It’s fascinating to learn about the history while walking through such a breathtaking underground space. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, providing clear explanations and interesting facts throughout the journey. Transport was comfortable, timings were well managed, and we never felt rushed. This tour is a perfect option if you want to escape the city and see something truly special in Romania. Highly recommended for couples and first-time visitors — a memorable highlight of our trip!

We visited the Salt Mines with Gray Line and had a great time. The super punctual transfer, we were 8 which speeded up the movements a lot. The fantastic Narcis guide! A person prepared, enthusiastic and with excellent English who not only explained the whole history of the mine, but also showed us and told many other monuments along the way. Super helpful to answer everyone's questions. The Mine is fascinating and wow effect, not at all claustrophobic and you can visit very well in the 2h of time with also different activities to do inside. Less touristy than the castle tour but in my opinion undoubtedly more original.

Breathtaking location, never seen something like this in my life. Definitely a must visit! Special thanks to the guide, Lucian David! Great jokes, interesting facts and he also gave some tips about Bucharest (what to see, where to eat, what to do and what is not worth your time) The best excursion that I've ever had! Very pleasurable experience overall

The place is impressive but not worth a 2 hour drive each way or the 2 hours spent underground. There’s nothing to do other than walking around and after the initial wow, it’s just plain. This tour needs to be bundled with something else to make sense

Absolutely stunning ! But dumbed down by TAT !! Bouncy castles ,go karts, 7d cinema ( Absolutely nothing to do with the impressive excavation) , fake stalictites . Xmas tree and air hockey tables ,...focus on the wonder but could have been so much better using the space to showcase it not cheapen it

Salt mine tour is a long day but worth it. Our guide was very knowledge & friendly. Salt mine was fascinating but I do think more could be done to make the experience even more interesting. More exhibits e.g. one area for each period of time with tools, clothes, more pictures & information. We were astounded by the height of the ceiling. I definitely felt the health benefits of breathing the salt air.
