Peles Castle is closed on Mondays year-round and on Tuesdays. Peles is also closed period 3rd of November till 2nd of December . If your tour is booked within this period then you will see Peles Castle from the outside.

Boarding will be done only after booking is confirmed by our guide and if there are remaining seats. If booking is not confirmed or there are no remaining seats, you are entitled to refund.

Peles Castle
Start your day trip with Peles Castle (inside visit), set in the scenic mountain resort of Sinaia, also called the Pearl of the Carpathians. Tour the Romanian royal family’s former summer residence, which showcases a magnificent palace in the German Renaissance style. Built at the foot of the mountains between 1873 and 1914 by Carol I, the first Romanian king, the palace is considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Europe.

5.00The tour was a bit rushed, over all okay. We were supposed to end at brasov but started there so wasnt really able to enjoy the place much.. there were 2 guides speaking 2 languages at the same time at the same bus so if youre seated in between, its confusing. They shouldve talked one at a time.

2.00Visiting the castles and getting to see the countryside was fabulous! Our “guide” required an extra 75 lei to provide the “guided” tours which were of the Pepe’s Castle but not the Braun Castle. He refused access to people on our bid to the Braşov City tour who didn’t pay the 75 lei. The way I read the description is was included in the transport. The guide didn’t provided any historical information during the 6 hours of drive time during the day. Most of his time spent was telling us how important it was to arrive early and not be late for the bus as he wasn’t going to wait.
