What To Expect

Ngorongoro Crater

Pick up from Arusha town at approximately 7:00am and we depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for a 4 hours game drive with picnic lunch. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. in the afternoon we depart for Arusha where we will end our safari adventure. Expected arrival time to Arusha town will be around 19:00pm.

We went on a 9 days safari in Massai Mara, Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater and the Tarangire parc. We saw a lot of animals, the lodges were perfectly chosen and out driver Amman was fantastic! He is the Tansanian Mc Gywer because he fixed someones car with just a wooden stick!!! Very friendly people in East Safari tours. We had the chance to travel with thé director- very nice person. I highly recommand. Price is correct compared to other compagnies toi. You can go for it the eyes closed!

Me and my family had the most amazing safari experience. Emanuel Planned everything for us, very easy to communicate itwith him, and open for suggestions. Our guides Fadhili were experts on everything from the animals, to the roads, to the driving, to the people (Masai Cultural trip). We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have had their experience in choosing the parks we visited and the timing of the excursions each day, we literally saw thousands of animals! all Big 5 Animals. We were so close to a lion sleeping in a tree that we could have reached out of the truck and pulled his tail! I highly recommend this "7 Day Tanzania safari experience" safari which covers Tarangire park, Serengeti park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara park. We have just ended our wonderful holidays in Tanzania, all arranged by East Safaris! We (my son, my daughter and I) went on a 6 days track to mt. Kilimanjaro and afterwards 3 days of safari at Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara! We have been very satisfied with the service and arrangements made, and Emanuel and his staff took very very good care of us!
