An evening desert safari gives you a glimpse of what desert life is like and lets you experience the challenge and thrill of riding on the sand dunes.
Stop at a picturesque location and watch the beauty of the sun setting over the desert. Drive to the Bedouin camp and receive a traditional welcome of Arabic coffee, tea, and dates.
Enjoy the numerous activities at the camp, like riding a camel. Get a henna tattoo and take photos while wearing traditional Arabic clothing. Tuck in to a delectable BBQ dinner while being entertained by a belly dance and tanoura show.

What To Expect

Our professional guide will pick you up from your location, then drive you to Al Khatim desert, which takes around 1 hour from Abu Dhabi City.
Al Khatim
The first stop is at a Camel farm, followed by a thrilling ride over the dunes. The driver will then stop at a scenic spot in the desert so you can take photos. This is followed by a short ride to the camp, where you will be welcomed the traditional way, with tea, coffee, water and dates. Activities at the camp include: camel riding, henna tattooing, sand boarding, taking photos with UAE national costume, and a delicious dinner with live Belly Dance and Tanoura Dance show.

5.00Really well worth doing. Nousal was a brilliant guide. Some of the driving over the dunes was a bit scary but the boys loved it and Nousal clearly knew what he was doing! Entertainment at the camp also good. Toilets very clean at the camp.
Mohamed was a great tour guide! Sand dunes were beautiful and fun!

5.00Our tour guide, Mohamed, was EXCELLENT! He made the tour fun and took extra time to stop and take beautiful pictures of my family and I a couple of different times. He was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend this tour for the sand dunes. The camel experience was under whelming (you get lead in a tiny circle and then are done) the bbq was good food.

5.00Pick and drop off by Ashraf was easy and we left our photo of us 4wheeling which he dropped off a few days last (hour drive), super nice!! This is a must do, the driving over the dunes was amazing, the camel ride, the dube surfing etc etc. A must do!

5.00It was a brilliant experience and a lot of fun. A well organised day by Safari with pick up and drop off running to schedule. Mohamed our driver was very experienced on the dunes giving us some serious and wild dune bashing. He was super friendly and helpful during the trip and took great photos and videos of me and my wife on the dunes at sunset. The camel rides combined with the dinner and belly dancing show were brilliant. We recommend this professional group very highly. Mark
