Very commercial, but with many activities

4.00Our tour guide Tariq was great, but overall the tour was extremely commercial. The activities were all lined up close together like on a string of pearls and there were far too many people everywhere. We had previously done a Sunrise Camel Ride Tour in Dubai with significantly fewer people, which was much slower and more romantic. If you don't mind mass tourism and if you want to try out the various activities (camel riding, quad desert tour, falcon photo, sandboarding, dunebashing) in no time, this tour is for you. But if you want to ride a camel through a beautiful desert for a very long time in a romantic atmosphere, Dubai is better off. Unfortunately you have mass tourism here with every provider, there were a lot of jeeps and tourists on the road.

5.00We were lucky enough to have Far as our tour guide. He gave us helpful information in navigating the airport which was much needed. He was informative and kind, giving insight on what it’s like to live in Qatar. The most fun part of his tour was dune bashing. If you have any interest in dune bashing, I highly recommended you request Far as your guide.
