Our journey takes us along one of Iceland's longest fjords, to our first destination, the Goðafoss waterfall, which holds great significance in Iceland's history.
Next, we will drive to Húsavík, a small town which is known from the film Eurovision with Will Farell. There you will see a charming church and port. Then we will visit a location where we can see puffins. Our next destination is Ásbyrgi, a horseshoe-shaped canyon surrounded by precipitous cliffs. We will then travel alongside the echoing cliffs which are world-renowned for their basalt columns that characterize the ancient crater remains. Finally, we will reach Dettifoss Waterfall the most powerfull waterfall in Europe. Our next stop is at Hverir, which is known for its boiling mud pits, this area is considered by many to be the most beautiful and catastrophic place in Iceland. We will take a short break at Víti crater near Krafla Volcano. On the way back, you will be able to admire the beauty of Lake Mývatn.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Joanna was an incredible guide. She gave a wonderful commentary of everywhere we went and made additional stops to show us even more wonders. She was happy to take photos of us and gave us plenty of time to explore at each stop. This was a truly incredible 12 hour day and we can't thank Joanna and Fox Adventure enough. Highly recommended to see the best the North has to offer.

Truly the best day tour we’ve experienced during our vacation. So many sights and experiences in one day, made possible by our lovely guide Joanna. Our tour included waterfalls, caves, a canyon, craters, echo rocks, geothermal mudpits and a fun walk through rock formations that had us looking for trolls! Highly recommend this tour and tour guide Joanna. - Heather & Jennifer
