The guide was well informed, personable, responsive. I wanted this tour. The guide engaged my friend in a way that also made her ecstatic that she went on the tour.

Our parents went on one of Rayn’s Grand Central tours a couple years ago and gifted us this experience. It did not disappoint. We traveled through time on the three original companies of NY subways through humor, facts, and improvisation based on group interest and the train schedules. A great experience and will be back for more.

Rayn was an excellent guide! He made the subway tour informative, engaging, and easy to follow. Learned so many interesting things I would have never noticed on my own. Highly recommend this tour with Rayn.

Rayn - was amazing! He was excellent at meeting all of us where we were in subway knowledge - some advanced, some beginner. He was also great at making the tour seem like just a day with friends where you learn along the way. It did not seem overly rehearsed or planned but he kept us always entertained. He also had a great itinerary that kept it moving while still being flexible and not rushing us along. Would recommend to anyone! Especially "FOAMERS"

I organized a surprise tour for my husband and his friends. Rayn absolutely killed it. These guys had the best time. Rayn was exceptional in coordinating with me ahead of time, not only on timing and locations, but also in accommodating some special requests I had (stop into a bar for a round of beers midway…) Rayn was very responsive and the guys said the tour was both extremely informative and fun. 10/10 would recommend Rayn. I’ll mention that we’re all New Yorkers who know a fair amount about transit, so the bar was high and Rayn delivered.

Rayn was the kindest, calmest, and most knowledgeable tour guide as we went through the highlights of the Brooklyn subway. He was super encouraging to the subway enthusiasts on the trip (including my teenage son). I felt like we were on a birding expedition with an expert ornithologist. I loved that he also shared what it was like to work for the MTA and what it’s like now to work as an urban planner. It was also easy to hear, since he had earpieces for all of us.
