  It was ok. Nothing to write home about. You go over by boat, walk a short distance to the beach area, spend a few hours, go back. Quite relaxing time. Now bring everything, food, drinks, sunscreen, beach blankets, towels. Sometimes there is a little place to buy drinks and snacks. Cheaper to bring your own.

  Not the most updated place to stay, but not the worst. Bed was excellent, all staff were great, nice beach & food was good. Nice being close to town, for a little time away from resort.

  The Coral Island (Guayabitos) Nayarit Mexico The coral island located off the coast of Guayabitos, Nayarit offers different activities that you can practice such as diving, snorkeling and bird watching A paradise island, beautiful ( Selfie of braids)! This is my favorite, of the braids 😻 Haha I didn't even see for the sob, but how nice! How to go every month, to the island! * Group Selfie: A couple from Guadalajara, with whom we meet (well they with us)! Haha But everything went very well * My bag 🛍️ 💚 reusable, served as a locker! * In the end we never shared our names, but we spent all day together on the island 😃 🏝️🌊🌿💚 💙😊 #minepaotraveling ****. I lived in SLP and we made the trip to Guadalajara to go to Tenacatita and then to Colima capital (after 3 years of not going to my state); my husband and his mother QEPD Now I came back (thanks to God and hydrocalidos tourism), a few months away from my 8th birthday living in Aguascalientes MX)! 🙏 now, in the first of October... #thanksthanks 8 years later I have returned to the beach: the last time was April 2016... • WORSE TRIP EVER!!!!!

  I am an experienced snorkelers. Even getting into the water was almost impossible. The Water was so churned up all you could see was sand...on a sandy bottom. NO FISH NOT ANYTHING. The guide was not helpful..3 of the folks were first time snorkelers. So..2 of them wouldn't even try. I would NEVER RECOMMEND.

  we rec'd a text 2 minutes before we were to be picked up that they would be another 1.5 hours to pick us up. They said we would still have the same amount of time at our destination. We did NOT. We were only able to have 30 minutes free time in Guyabitos instead of 3 hours. We felt this whole trip was overpriced and a "tourist trap" I would not recommend

  We really loved this tour and we our excellent guide. The trip was a private and nice transportation. Its was only the 2 of us so we got to as the guide all the questions he is also very knowledgeable. We made a stop at the fruit market and it was great.

  The most memorable part was our boat captain telling us a story that basically boiled down to he thought we’d been ripped off for booking the tour 🙃 The guys on the boat and the tour guides were all very friendly and fun, but the snorkelling was mediocre and the beach on the mainland was super dirty.

  Brilliant trip. Beautiful beach at Ricon de Guayabitos with mountain backdrop, soft white sand. Amazing views across to Crab Island and Coral Island. About 1 hour from Punta de Mita. 10 min boat trip to reach Coral Island with quick view of Crab Island. Great snorkeling at Coral Island and we could have watched the pelicans for hours. After about 90 mins it was back to Guayabitos for lunch. Pretty basic but nice - either grilled fish or grilled chicken with fries, rice and salad. 45 mins to either shop or stay at the beach at Guayabitos before heading back. This trip is amazing, little piece of paradise. Top tip, if you can't see you hotel on pick up list, contact Viator help centre chat room. They were fantastic and helped sort the booking from Secrets/Dream Punta de Mita which was basically off the grid for most trips. Worth the effort....Coral Island is relatively unknown but will never be forgotten.
