This activity begins with a training dive in our swimming pool or from the beach, where you will learn how to use Scuba equipment and how to manoeuvre underwater.
After gaining some confidence and competence, you'll be taken on a dive from our boat to see and experience the magical underwater world of Tenerife.

Diving less than 18 hours before flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
We'll provide an introduction to using scuba equipment from the beach. You'll practice some basic skills on the surface, then repeat them underwater. Once you are comfortable we will make a dive along the breakwater to see the variety of marine life. After a short break, we will take you by boat for a dive in the ocean.

5.00Absolutely amazing! As a novice to diving I didn’t know what to expect. Hotel pick up and drop off service was perfect. Greg was super friendly on pick up. Filled out paperwork and had a safety briefing. Given all the equipment necessary and practiced safely in the sea before the boat dive. Our instructor “Rhian” you couldn’t fault at all. Really down to earth and friendly. Super helpful, safe, patient and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of diving. The boat dive was amazing as you can see loads of fish and other sea-life. Really enjoyed myself. Would recommend highly to anyone who is thinking about diving on holiday in Tenerife.

5.00My wife and I were on our honeymoon here in Tenerife, and I have always been interested in diving. She was a bit hesitant but we figured we would give it a shot. We had a blast. Riyaan was our instructor and she was absolutely excellent. She was extremely patient with us and made sure we were comfortable with our equipment and skills. Honestly, I don’t think this experience would have gone so well if it weren’t for her. My wife and I are already planning our next dive and certifications! Many thanks to Riyaan and the whole team at Aqua Marina for a wonderful experience! If you think you might be interested then by all means this is the place to go! Hooked me for life.

5.00As Beginners we felt well prepared from the beginning and in very good hands. We did the first diving exercises on the beach and then went out to sea by boat. We felt safe at all times and accompanied there. Aqua Marina is really very professional and when we are back in Tenerife we will definitely dive again with Aqua Marina. Many thanks to Ines, Jacob and Astrid! It was really a great day with you!

5.00Excellent introduction into scuba diving! Professional and efficient throughout our session. The session can also be used as part of the OWD course. All instructors were awesome and very helpful! Safety is top priority, with one instructor per two divers. Great training and finished with a boat dive with amazing Tenerife aqua life.

5.00Just fantastic! First time divers and couldn't have been better taught or looked after! The whole team were friendly and helpful from the outset and Jacob was a brilliant 1 on 1 instructor. Left with total enthusiasm for diving and can't wait to come back!

5.00We had a great experience. Instructions were clear and understandable throughout the whole journey. We learned basics in the pool next door and then went on a boat ride to a diving place. This was a great first experience and made me want to do it again. On the other hand, my wife was feeling anxious and Rhian (our instructor) was very helpful and supportive. She didn't push her and made sure she is feeling safe. We both have a good experience and would definitely suggest this adventure. We only got one photo and no videos, despite having "Photos and video" in "What's included" section. Thank you, Rhian!

5.00Followed the introduction course together with our children (20+ years). The staff at Aqua Marina (Greg, Inez) were very friendly, enthusiastic and patient. Started in the morning by watching an introductory video about the most important issues around diving. Then a short session in the pool of the adjacent hotel where we could be familiar with the equipment. In the afternoon from the port of Los Cristianos by boat to the cliffs a little further up for the real diving experience. Again, excellent guidance was provided. 35 minutes dived to 12 meters depth. Seen much larger and smaller fish, barracudas, rays and many variants of "Nemo and Dory". The only thing missing was a turtle. But this was offset by the dolphins we saw on the way back. It was a fantastic experience.
